November 30, 2005A politician I likeThanks to some really crappy redistricting (read: racially-motivated gerrymandering), this guy is no longer my Congressman. I may change my voting address to my Mama's house just so I can sneak into Chatham County and vote for him again. He's one of the good guys. Comments
First term House members can still maintain some integrity. But give 'em time and a few elections and EVERY politician will rip your heart out. Posted by: WitNit on November 30, 2005 12:21 PMI like his accent and he is always SO POLITE (no matter how contentious the discussion becomes) I see him on the various cable news outlets from time to time and always enjoy his insight as well as his demeanor. A class act! Posted by: Ruth on November 30, 2005 02:33 PMVote against the gerrymandered person. Posted by: Adam Lawson on November 30, 2005 02:51 PMI took Jack's sister-in-law to my high school prom. Of course, she wasn't at the time. But strange, that.
