Gut Rumbles

surprise, surprise

Todays's universities are producing a bunch of tangle-head brats, immature and uneducated, because they are being TAUGHT by bunch of tangle headed brats who are educated to the point of complete ignorance. Buncha whining pussies.

Only a handful of graduates and faculty stood and turned their backs to the stage, but spectators in the bleachers at Santa Monica Community College's stadium kept up a steady and distracting patter of chants and whistles as Schwarzenegger, dressed in a black robe, made his 20-minute speech.

You can expect to see college students behave like assholes. They are young, dumb and full of cum. But when members of THE FACULTY join in such juvenile actions, you've got wonder just what kind of shit those people are teaching.

California's unions have unleashed an offensive against Schwarzenegger-backed measures that go before voters in a Nov. 8 special election that could dramatically alter the state's political landscape in his favor.

Schwarzenegger, a Republican, is backing ballot measures to impose a state spending cap, raise tenure requirements for teachers and take the job of drawing lawmakers' districts from legislators.

The HORROR! The HUMANITY!!! Teachers might actually be expected to teach and money might be withheld if they don't. We can't have that kind of fascist shit in OUR great country!

California's labor movement, especially its influential teachers' union, has promised a fierce battle to defeat Schwarzenegger's measures. Already bitter that his proposed budget does not raise school spending as much as they want, teachers see his tenure measure as a threat to their job security.

A spending cap could restrain school budgets and new legislative districts could work against Democrats, potentially diminishing the clout of the California Teachers Association.

Bejus! If this is the result of the current system, I believe that a LOT of people need to be dragged off and shot, just so we can start over again. What we have now is pretty goddam pathetic.

But it's not about the money and it's not about politics. It's "For the Children."

And this kind of behavior from the state that was first to legalize a right turn after stop at a redlight? Somewhere they made a turn to the left and doubt that the terminator will be able to even get them bacck on the road let alone on the 'right' road. I do give him credit for trying. He has a pretty good job just putting up with a Kennedy for a wife-remember her on NBC Today Show? What a flake! To take on the job of California is a challenge. After all if one faces north California is about as far left as one can travel. And, the oranges suck back

I believe the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia has more moonbats per capita than even the NE states. It kinda makes you wish for the big one to hit and sink LA and SF!

BTW, "Ahnold" is nothing but a RHINO, but he does have balls, unlike certain trolls on this blog who we know and love!

I'm all in favor of eliminating tenure, imagine the fun we as workers would have if we couldn't be terminated for our behavior just because we made it past the probation period. Thanks Ed, my sentiments exactly.

GUYK, you're so right about Maria (sp?) Remember when Arnold was stumping for the GOP at the convention. I forget who interviewed them, but, that was one pissed of woman. I'm sure Arnold got no pussy for a while after that!

Posted by: Ed on June 15, 2005 02:04 PM

Not all of us are that dumb.

Posted by: Alli on June 15, 2005 02:17 PM

And Arnold is doing it all through the ballot box. Pure democracy in action. I wonder how the politicos justify their opposition to democracy? I wonder how the teachers justify their opposition to democracy? Same for the union hacks.

You should see the lying whining teachers union commercials they are running now. They HATE Ahnold. He's their worst nightmare........I love it !

Posted by: Robert on June 15, 2005 02:44 PM

Robert, he is a pain in their butt but the teachers union's worst nightmare is about parents who have actually taught their kids how to think!

Posted by: GUYK on June 15, 2005 03:11 PM

I work in a high school and I WISH there were enough concerned parents that taught their kids how to think!
One little shit (a junior) actually asked the teacher today if Nixon was impeached!!!
Out of 3 classes I work in, only 5 parents showed up for teacher confirence day. It's pretty damn pathetic.

As I've said before at college events where the enlightened would not allow the benighted to speak: once you've registered your protest, prove your manners by sitting down and shutting up.

Maeve, teaching to think means more than teaching a bunch of facts. Thinking entails questioning what is proposed to one as fact. For example, "as a member of society one must accept joint responsibility for all of the ills of society." I got kicked out of a sociology 101 class one time because I refused to accept this premise and questioned, why?

Kids who question such premises are nightmares to many of the left wing educational system because they refuse to accept the standard pat answers that defies logic.

I taught computers in a California Jr. High School for 3 years in the late 80's. There were probably 40 teachers at the school I was at. I would say the number of them that I would call a good As for the rest, most weren't even good babysitters. What a freak show it was !

Posted by: Robert on June 15, 2005 07:35 PM

Yeah Robert, I did the cooperate and graduate bit to get a teachers certificate over 20 years ago. The last semester required a practise teaching session. How do you teach a teenager who can't read? And even worse, how do you get it across to the administration in the school that the little shits can't read? I took my diploma and came back to the republik of Florida and went into business for myself. I was a good academic instructor but that is a hell of a lot different from trying to get something across to kids who not only don't care to learn, they don't even want to be there.

As long as he has a fucking "R" next to his name, they'll direct their "Hate Bush Faith" towards him. Seriously, it's become an alternative to conventional religion for these people. I wasn't too happy with Clinton, and regard him and his former underlings as treasonous scum, but I'm not about take an entire weekend off just to hold up a retarded sign with his picture with a Hitler mustache on it, and scream like a fucking insane crackhead.

Just another example of how the Democrats in this country live in fear of democracy.

I suppose if Arnold wins at the ballot box they will rush into court in an attempt to overturn the will of the voters.

You really have to wonder where all this will end. The Democrats appear to be really getting odd.

I read a scarry comment on a similar topic over at Kim du Toits. It went something like this:

"The philosophy in the classroom of this generation will be the philosphy of government in the next!"

With a union, any union (I was reared in a union family) it's always about the money for the top wheels anyway. I'll bet that the top 100 people in the teachers union each make more (salary + kickbacks) per year than the president of the United States.
