the numbers

If you like looking at the poll numbers so far and the trends going into this year's Presidential election, this is a pretty good place to go. I believe that Bush will win, but the race is too close to call right now.

My personal opinion? Kerry is self-destructing right now and I don't think a liberal from Massachussetts can win a Presidential election today.

But that's just MY humble opinion.

Check out this site, Rob:

It is maintained by a Kerry supporter but seems to be scrupulously honest. The news is not that good if you're a Bush supporter. It is close but Kerry is definitely leading if you analyze the race state by state.

This really sucks, by the way; here I live in California and all our votes are going to waste; the state is going for Kerry no matter what we do. (And the candidates know it; they don't even bother coming out here to talk to us.) The electoral college is an anachronism which should be retired.

For awhile back in the 80s, Mondale was "neck and neck" wtith Reagan. Ha. Ha.

If Bush wins by a squeak instead of a landslide, we've still lost.

That this many voters--enough to make this a "close" race--would allow a morally bankrupt assclown like Kerry to have a legit shot at the Presidency is a disgrace.

Assuming his Viet Nam Experience was truthful, Kerry the Very still came back and betrayed his brothers with propaganda worthy of the VC; propaganda our POWs fought tooth and nail to resist in the Hanoi Hilton.

With the flood of illegals, the ever-growing federal leviathan and no real Republican Party to speak of, we've got about 50 years tops before the US is a craphole like the EU.
