a new high

I don't know if I experienced a new high or a new low this morning. I woke up, rolled over and thought I was gonna DIE from the pain in my shoulders. That shit went far beyond torture, all the way to exquisite agony. I saw SPOTS before my eyes.

Then, I crawled out of bed and became violently sick in the bathroom. I'm no rocket scientist, but my natural intuition tells me that something is terribly WRONG with that picture. If you wake up hurting so badly that you PUKE, you need to go see a doctor.

Come Monday, it'll be all right...

Damn, that IS really bad. It's probably not recommended from the program you were in at Willingway, but I think you need to take something for that. Is there an out patient dept of a hospital you can go to today to get something?

Agreed. The outpatient place is a good idea... at least call them... throwing up is nothing to ignore.

At least with this one I know how you feel. I have been mostly pain free in my shoulders for about two years now.

The doctors tried PT first (pulling, stretching, hand climbing the wall, ...) and lots of ibuprofen. Didn't make the pain go away.

Second, they tried tying down the arm while I slept. It appeared as though I would sleep with my head on my shoulder and my arm extended, thus cutting off a nerve and some blood flow to the arm(s). I would wake up in the morning with the "arm strap" taken off.

I was finally able to solve the problem by sleeping either in a reclining chair or on the couch where I would keep my arms down and not pinch the nerves.

I also got real good at giving myself a deep muscle massage to relieve to shoulder pain.

Horrible result of successful "phone sex" wouldn't ya say?

I WISH, TC. My shoulders hurt so bad now that even masturbation is too painful to enjoy.
