Gut Rumbles

this guy is no sheeple

Just start at the top and scroll down. I think Jim is making all the right moves and I hope he doesn't lose his sloop to Hurricane Rita. But he's got his priorities in order.

He'd rather lose the boat than lose his life.

Besides--- I heard his blog was mentioned on CNN today. He now MUST survive so that he can reap all the adulation and worship headed his way.

Good luck, Jim!

Thanks, Rob. Blogfaddah

I just had time to find your link before I shut the lid on the laptop and hit the road.

Rita No.8 is at the top, and twenty minutes after I post this, the New Dawn shall be illuminated briefly, though only by the glow of my taillights.

I'll keep everyone up to speed as I have the chance in the coming days.

Again Rob, thanks. And thanks for getting me started a'bloggin, too.

Very best to you.

He definitely has my prayers...I know how he feels. I admire his courage, and I sure hope the Sloop New Dawn comes through O.K.

Please let us know that Sam is safe?

Livey, Sam will be fine in Fort Worth. Hell--- that's where people are fleeing TO right now.

I've been keeping an eye on Jim's posts, he's one of my favorites, along with you, Acidman, and Doc Russia. Doc's wife wants to stay in Houston and he had to go to Dallas, he's not real comfortable about it.

Smart man, Jim - women of any kind are a nickle a gross, but a good boat, well, that's priceless.
