i watched football today

I saw some really good games on television and I listened to the Dawgs on the radio. I LOVE football.

But as much as bleed Red And Black, I don't believe that my beloved Bulldogs are really good this year. They're 3-0 so far, but they haven't played a good team yet. I STILL think that Shockley is a spastic and the team will beat itself eventually through stupid mistakes.

Shockley is a great athlete and he can make something from nothing on a broken play, but he throws a lot of passes that he shouldn't throw---or else he throws them badly. I will NEVER understand the number of dumbass penalties that team gets, especially in the wrong place at the wrong time.

A good team doesn't fuck up in the Red Zone. Georgia does.

You cannot play the way Georgia has been doing and expect to beat the Tall Dogs in the SEC. I can name three teams right now that will whip Dawg ass if Georgia keeps playing the way the team plays now. Tennesse, Auburn and Florida will hand them their butts on a plate if they don't straighten up and learn some discipline.

I see a LOT of things wrong with that team.

OOPS!
Just glanced at the schedule. PIMF. looks like the dawgs lucked out this year. Now that I've said that, watch the tide implode. I'm going back to bed now.

I venture a guess you would rather eat dirt than admit it......but Ugag goes to Tech this year. Tech beat Auburn like a drum in their own stadium. I love Mark Richt. However, he needs to be the head coach and let somebody else run the offense. That FSU offensive scheme worked great in the old ACC against lesser opponents. The Tall Dogs eat that scheme up. The penalties are killing them too.

Got to disagree with you here. No way Tennessee comes even close to beating Georgia this year - sadly, the Vols suck hard - and I blame Phil Fulmer.

Screw his NCAA leading winning percentage (or whatever record he holds), is there any coach who has lost more games that count than Fulmer?

You could take your entire article, and just swap the Dawgs for the Buckeyes, and it would be the exact same scenario. lotsa potential, lots of stupidity.

sad indeed, countertop. last night's performance against Florida was abysmal. Fulmer needs to go...his crap worked in the early years, but it's stale bread now.

Unless I am mistaken, it will be a number of years before Tennessee is a TallDog again...but they might fool everybody. They have before...

Wishful thinking, I guess......

The Auburn team that Tech beat won't be the same Auburn team that Georgia faces. Auburn started an entirely new backfield with little experience, not to take anything away from Tech. If you saw the way Alabama dismantled USC, then you have to wonder about Georgia barely beating them. But, there are weeks to go and a lot of changes happen during that time.

.. you may be right about Florida and Auburn... but Tennessee sucked ass yesterday.... gave Florida the ball for no good reason and got hammered for it....
