the circus

I don't know diddly-squat about this guy. I don't think many other people do, either.

I also believe that his "stealth" character is why Bush nominated him for the Supreme Court. Ever since Robert Bork, the problem with nominating a Supreme Court judge has NOT been about selecting the most qualified candidate--- it's about finding someone that Democrats can't roast on a slow-turning spit.

That bullshit really does a lot to make the country a better place. That's EXACTLY why David Souter is on the bench. If THAT'S the only kind of person who can be confirmed today, we're in deep shit as a nation. Thank you, politicians.

Bejus! This "confirmation" process is gonna be a complete circus, with all the usual clowns involved. Just wait and see.

.....and Ted kennedy will once again be passing moral judgement on this nominees character and both my Callyfornia "senators" have already got their panties in a bunch Maybe Hillary would have been a good nonimee? I'd rather see her there than the White House

Robert-no way in hell! The white house is temprary and the court is for a lifetime. She might get elected and fuck things up for a few years but on the supreme court she could fuck the country up for the rest of her life. The country is probably strong enough to survive a few years of Hillary as president-hell, we survived eight years of slick willie and appear to be surviving bubba Bush. I would be looking for a cheap house in Costa Rica if Hillary was named to the court.

Tell me about! My brother-in-law works for Sen. Patty Murray, Washington (D)... The dumbocrats are swirling like buzzards to tear into this guy. My B-I-L fully drinks and carries their water... makes for a tough time at the dinner table on sunday evenings. He's in communications... former english professor... now, a Dems party hack! YUCK! Oh, well.. I guess it takes all kinds.

I'll bet he supports teaching Ebonics! HAHA.

Tsk, tsk . . .

Scott McClelland got hung out to dry recently trying to explain the usual Bushian convolutions--as in why Rove has not yet been fired as Bush promised to do with any leaker . . .

The press has been all over that issue, until now.

Now, much earlier than the administration said would happen, we have W's nominee to the Court. You don't think that might be coincidental--maybe to distract the attention of the mindless MSM and the sheeples that believe it?

You had a chance for a scoop, and you went MSM yourself.

Maybe it is a conspiracy from those nasty democrats . . . ya think? Or from the GOP? Like what's the frigging difference?

Faith in the political system is like you always say about faith in the church. Ya gotta believe some pretty damnable and dumb things to remain faithful.

Keep believing in government to solve the problems it erects, Rob. But then, skip calling others "sheeples" when you graze in the same pasture.

Bush is the head of the government you profess to detest. Make the damned connection, would you?

JB, don't be an idiot. You can find a White House press release 2 years old that says Bush would fire anyone _who broke the law_. He's not backtracking, the MSM is lying thru their teeth, and you're drinking the kool-aid.

If it is so easy to find a White House press release 2 years old that says Bush would fire anyone "who broke the law", then why don't YOU find it and prove that the MSM is lying Rick? You can't because you know damn well these sorry sumbitches keep moving the goal post when it comes to their corrupt activities, just like trying to change the ethics rules on Tom Delay's illicit affairs. Yeah, the Republicans are really restoring integrity to the White House.....lol. My aching ass!
