i rest my case

Go read this post if you missed it, and be sure to read all the comments. Betcha ass. You have a Constitutional Right to free expression as long as you DON'T say anything that pisses people off. Say EXACTLY what people want to hear, and you can express yourself all day long. No problem.

Just make sure you express yourself.... correctly.

I said what I meant, and if you don't like it, go pound sand up your ass.

Comments

Yep. You did hit some sore spots didn't you. Hell of it is I didn't take the post to be a bigoted position. I suppose some did.

And I think everyone who commented meant what they said too Rob. Some just didnt agree with you.... But wouldnt it be a BORING world if we all had the same opinon and thoughts?

Smif--

My saying so might be a "kiss of death" . . . but you were on spot. The responses you received are pretty much emotional "knee-jerkisms" . . . pretty much the same tripe I get when I challenge faulty thinking with facts on the war.

When folks have made the mistake of investing into a position emotionally without knowing the facts, they counter criticism the most vociferously, and yet again, sans facts.

That is twice today we are in agreement.

:-)

for crissakes everything is about the Iraqi War with this guy....someone give the old victrola a kick, his record seems to be skipping....over and over and over again...

Somebody says they think its no big deal to be biracial, and this character thinks its comparable to people disagreeing on the Iraqi War....

Madness! (but predictable and funny JB, I will give you that)

And I love the "faulty thinking" label...(I didnt realize any of the varying opinions here were considered "faulty thinking" JB, I thought we just had varying thoughts on certain topics)

Guess JB must have some sort of manual or handbook that outlines what "faulty thinking" is....

Sounds very ORWELLIAN to me JB....(you been reading Animal Farm again?)

Ruth

Just keep posting and proving me right.

This is not merely about the Bush Family war against Saddam, it is about the simply stunning inability of Americans to understand how this administration is taking our heritage away from us.

Like the Founding Fathers, I am in the minority. They caught all the shit they did because most in America called them fools. But who won?

Call me a fool some more, ok?

Gramsci was right.

And, Ruth . . .

Your own words make it clear you are AS clueless about Orwell AS you are about your own constitution. Your opinions (differentiated from fact/truth) matter little. Bush has taken this entire nation on a Bush Family war on terror, and you endorse it. Even Gut admits it is not constitutional, and everything in this country right now (from the price of gas to getting a flight to Frisco) is governed by this infernal Bush War Bullshit!

And you expect me to endorse such hormornal behavior and call it American?

No. I have more pride as an American than to accept the words of a man who effectively deserted from duty (Yes, W deserted and the truth is there to be known if you are not afraid to be wrong).

I paid attention in Civics and my political science classes. One thing I learned about liberals is that they will always speak without knowing the facts. I guess that makes you a flamer, by that definition.

Too fucking funny--a coke freak runs the country after we got rid of a blow job freak, and everyone wants to go to war because the coke freak says so!

This is America . . . 2005. 9000 dead American soldiers unconstitutionally (The DoD does not report the 7000 who died on the way from Iraq to Germany for treatment) Did you know that, Ruth?

Orwell would have known.

Happy Fucking Independence Day!

The ignorance level of those following the coke freak is absolutely amazing!

Hehehe . . no one has yet to answer me factually, they just get mad and spout off. Is there someone out there who would like to actually argue the facts?

I have only asked a gazillion times or so. Every one else wants to call me names.

Facts=truth=courage within.

Anyone?

Rob--e-mail me with my portion of the bandwidth bill--I will send it to you.

Enough for now . . . I am getting ready for tomorrow--this ole drunk (LOL says so) is gonna make another 3 grand or so next week.

Se y'all in N'awlings! hehe

Bush war? I thought this was a thread about biracial couples. JB the one-note samba strikes again..

And my point (which you obviously missed) was that anyone who disagrees with you, you label as having "faulty thinking". And JB, thats just plain screwy.

Posted by: Ruth on July 4, 2005 07:47 PM

Yep, he's worse than a dose of clap. At least with a couple of shots you can make the dose go away.

Posted by: GUYK on July 4, 2005 07:55 PM

Aw Fer Christsakes! It's a damn holiday, JB. This is a day when you should be remembering the sacrifice of your betters, who have given you the ability to annoy, w/o the fear of reprecussion you so richly deserve.

Spoogenozzle.

"9000 dead American soldiers unconstitutionally (The DoD does not report the 7000 who died on the way from Iraq to Germany for treatment) Did you know that, Ruth?"

Bullshit.

Instead of coming here and bloviating how you are the only one "in the know" and we are all ignorant sheeple, how about backing up your ludicrous assertions with some facts? You can start with your quote above.

The "It's this way because I say so" argument may have worked back in third grade but it doesn't cut the mustard with me.

Let's see the facts. And links to specious and/or tinfoil beanie sites such as Indymedia are NOT facts.

Put up or shut up, bitch.

Posted by: rightisright on July 4, 2005 08:23 PM

Speaking of tinfoil hats.....maybe you're on to something there RIGHTISRIGHT...perhaps JB is simply having trouble resisting the signals from the mothership.

Posted by: Ruth on July 4, 2005 08:31 PM

Will a shot of penicillin cure that? How about some pepto bismo stuck up his ass to cure the runs of the mouth?

Posted by: GUYK on July 4, 2005 08:49 PM

Yes jb LOL says you're a drunk and LOL KNOWS you ARE a drunk!!! Would you like some pictures posted? Proof is in the puddin!

Open the comment section in your own blog you lily -livered coward instead of coming to this one and standing on your soapbox and boring the Bejus out of all the readers.

Just can't take the heat of that one eh?
Thought so...!

Posted by: LOL on July 4, 2005 10:41 PM

Rob, please. Cut the drama.

No one is saying that you should be arrested for your opinions, informed or otherwise. THAT would be stepping on your constitutional rights.

We all know that you love stirring up feces.

If you don't want controversy, you should quit being Rob Smith. :-

(It's all love, baby.)

Posted by: Juliette on July 4, 2005 11:51 PM

Yes JB, we know who Gramsci was and what he stood for. Perhaps you will be praising Joseph Vissarionovich Djugashvilli next.
