nutless wonders

I hope the fact has dawned on most people by now that politicians are NOT the best and the brightest people in this country. Most of 'em are well-dressed gasbags who have a lot more in common with car salesmen than they do with statesmen.

I wonder what these idiots are thinking? I think some people just ACHE to relive Vietnam.

Pulling out of Iraq now would be an incredibly stupid move, for a LOT of different reasons. We demonstrate a lack of resolve, we show no stomach for war, we abandon the Iraqis who trusted us, we make a big mess and walk away to leave somebody else to clean it up, and we run, having nothing to show for the dead troops and all the money we spent there.

Yeah, we have plenty of good reasons to stay in Iraq. But I believe that this noted philsopher and home-brewer sums it up nicely:

The terrorists in Iraq aren't fighting us because they have high-minded moral objections to what we did there. They're fighting us because they're violent idiots from backward cultures. They don't fight us because our war is immoral. They fight us because they're stupid and vindictive. I say let's keep killing them as long as they continue to present themselves. Better there, where they face our volunteer troops, than here, facing unarmed civilians.

That idea seems simple enough that even this dumbass Cracker can understand it. Why can't politicians?

Comments

Either fight them in the mid-east or wind up fighting them in our backyard. Now, we have to convince the public of this and that will be tough when the majority get their news from MSM

"They fight us because they are stupid and vindictive." I would say they fight us because most men in those cultures have no education other than the text of the Koran, which limits the extensiveness of their education. And, they have very little of anything else to do, holy Jihad and all.

Acidman,

They can't see it because they think that they are smarter than a dumbass cracker.

This "civilian" isn't unarmed, and we could do worse than have a little set-to with the jihadis in the marsh a half-block from my house.

I'm ready to rumble.

Bring 'em on.

PJ-- I expect nothing more from YOU than your usual blather. If I'm the kind of "fucking idiot" that George Bush is, I'm in good company.

A LOT better company than YOURS.

"PJ-- "... If I'm the kind of "fucking idiot" that George Bush is, I'm in good company.

ACIDMAN

I would certainly have to agree with you Acidbrain. Not only are you both fucking idiots, you are both self-absorbed, narcissistic, arrogant windbags that know absolutely NOTHING about what you are talking about most of the time, but love to brag and spout off about EVERYTHING while believing the whole world loves you. Coincidentally, you both claim to be such patriotic Americans that talk a great game about war, but only as long as others are doing the actual fighting. Although I am not sure who has bigger issues, you can at least take solace in knowing that Bush has caused more damage in the world than little ole worthless, meaningless YOU. You are definitely in good company with the likes of thugs such as Karl Rove, Tom Delay, Jack Abramoff, Michael Scanlon, and Ralph Reed to name a few. But for me, I am only in the company of the majority of the nation that thinks the Bush administration is a sinking ship.
