quote of the day

"Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left rather than right or wrong."
Richard Armour

Just read the news.

No difference. "Right or left" correlates to "right or wrong." Right?

It seems to me on the face of it the observation is correct, at this point. The question is, why?
In my opinion, having been on both sides in my 50 years (damn I'll always be 3 years behind Rob) it seems to me that the "left", "liberals", "treehuggers", or even "asshats", have steadily been politicizing everything they can grasp at for years.
They graced us with "PC", (which for the first 5 minutes or so meant Politically Correct, thereafter meaning "if you don't agree with this you're a subhuman retard"), they think people in a possibly vegitative state should be allowed to starve to death, our money really is theirs ("what's yours is mine, and what's mine is my own, except when I give it to somebody else"), and so on. I could write a column. Someday I may. Even a blog.
Nahh.... no one would host it. Too vitriolic. I hate that shit that bad.
I'll end with the observation that we're in deep shit, most people don't notice it, and those that do are on the lethargic side. The future is what we allow. Doesn't look like we're doing much paying attention here. Frickin' lemmings.
The Left is intent on destroying everything this country was built on. These asssweasels don't understand they're destroying this legacy, bequeathed by their great-grandparents' sacrifices, to their own grandchildren (may they be born speakiing English).
These people should REALLY be dragged out and shot.
Rob, you aim too low.
Dubya has the right idea, but he ain't aiming close enough.
As has been said before, "Let God sort 'em out"....

Great Point HORRABIN'S. I especially like their attitude that "I'm objective and you're wrong!"....fuckin' maroons.
