pot, meet kettle

Howard Dean is the perfect man to lead the Democrat party today. He is wild-eyed, lunatic, full of shit, demented and downright rabid sometimes. If that's not the modern profile of a typical leftist, I don't know what is. Now, he says Republicans are "brain dead."

One major reason his party lost the 2004 race to the "brain-dead" Republicans is that it has a "tendency to explain every issue in half an hour of detail," Dean told the semi-annual meeting of Democrats Abroad, which brought about 150 members from Canada and 30 other countries to the Toronto for two days.

"I'm going to be very disciplined about how we deliver messages. We can have policy deliberations in rooms like this. On TV, we have to be very focused."

So... the way to defeat "brain dead" Republicans is to... TRY TO ACT LIKE REPUBLICANS! Brilliant!

I may live long enough to see the Democrat party implode. It's well on its way now, and the great minds behind it don't have far to go to move from the fringe to a fall off the cliff. They seem bound and determined to do it, too.

A little less spittle and a few more ideas might help their cause. But they have spittle to spare and a dearth of ideas. I don't believe that they will EVER recover from drinking the Clinton kool-ade. They poisoned themselves for that man, and their solution to the bellyache they have now is to run Hillary for President in 2008. Brilliant!

I'll bet you that watching the Titanic sink was an impressive sight. I'm seeing a political party do the same thing today, except the Dems steered DELIBERATELY into the iceberg.

I voted for Bush...does that make me "brain-dead"?

OMG, do ya think the democrats will remove my daily feeding tube......of Merlot?

Rob, I agree with you except for the "Clinton kool-ade". In reality, it was the McGovern kool-ade that they drank back in 1972 that started the Democrat party down the slide into bolshevism and tinfoil-hat moonbattery.

I was a Democrat myself back then, but when I heard a few McGovern speeches, I knew that even Nixon was a better choice than that nitwit. (He was Jane-Fonda-lite.)

It was because of the takeover by the McGovern wing of the Democrat party that I have voted Republican in every presidential election since '72.

Even at that, I had always split my ticket in local and state elections.

Until 9/11/2001.

Today, I wouldn't vote Democrat on a bet. And until they reverse their downward slide into insanity, reject the Ted Kennedys and Robert Byrds of the party, and start giving me candidates I can support - men like Sam Nunn, Zell Miller, and Romano Mazolli - I won't be voting for them again.

Funny Stuff . . .

Smif . . . You are always bitching about government . . . well . . .

Who has been in charge the last 4+ years? Dems? Nopers, The 'Phants, led by the Bush, who has elevated the budget to record levels (read that, for all his Texas cowpie crap about tax breaks), Americans of every stripe are now paying more money to a Republican-led government than to any and all adminstrations before.

If one is consistent in their thinking, then one can only wish that the Republicans quickly follow the Donkeys down the tubes. But those who so often claim to hate government, only hate it when their guys are not in charge.

Gut--Bush and his cronies have had 4+ years to prove that, while perhaps in new and different ways, they will as quickly and readily screw the American taxpayer as did any Democrat.

But what the hell, you are so sold on the two party system, which both the Dems and the Hose Noses love to hear, that any expectation of an objective view of the role of government from you is sorta like expectiing . . .

Well . . . an objective view from you.

Heh. People who somehow expect politicians or political parties to do something good or well . . . remind me of the of the old saying about failures:

They keep trying the same old worn-out plan plan every time, but keep expecting a different result.

As for candidates Republicans support . . . they are no different from those Dems support--both are leeches who suck the lifeblood out of society, productivity, personal wealth, and personal beliefs.

The mind control exerted by both parties is absolutely amazing to watch. People actually believe politicians of one stripe or the other intend to better their lives.

In-crucking-fedible!

Funny stuff.

Dems remind me of those Islamonuts that whip themselves until the blood runs like cherry kool-ade.

Mind control, J.B.? Rhyychuss mindbomb dude!
