mars & venus

Here's one from Guy S.:

Men are from Mars and Women from Venus?? (Does that explain why kids oft-times are such a pain in Uranus?)

I read that book not too long after it came out. I had just finalized my divorce, and was getting out of another relationship (not the cause of the divorce, just an unhappy bit of cause and effect) with a total psycho. It was at the time interesting reading. And like most pop psychology books, though there are some major nuggets of truth (yes we are different in how we view the world,
what a novel concept) most of it was fluff.

Any man with an ounce of commonsense has figured this out by at least the age of 10. And up until the feminists got their man hating agenda into
mainstream society, most women with half a brain (left or right side, your
choice), had this in the bag as well. We were taught men did the heavy lifting, women did the laundry. Men were supposed to be responsible for providing for and protecting the family, women were there to nurture, feed, and instruct in matters of faith and how to act in something approaching a civilized manner when in public (Make sure you have clean underwear on...you never know when you may have an accident...and no child of mine is going to the hospital in dirty skivvies!)

Men went to war, women kept the homefires burning.

Boys were expected to emulate their father (or other strong male figures). Girls
followed the examples and teachings of their mothers (or grandmas,Aunts, or older sisters). And so the cycle was repeated. Was it perfect? No, but it
did, with few exceptions,work.

And then we lost our way. Starting in earnest by the late 60's and reaching a
crescendo by the late 80's, the feminists did their damnedest to dictate the
dance. Hell, they not only wanted to change the tune, but replace the orchestration, musicians, and dance step.

Now, in the last ten years or so, we have come at least partially back to reality. Most people, even some liberals in their heart of hearts, realize we
perhaps lost much more than we gained by totally disregarding/destroying what was the norm not more than a generation or so past.

The Venusians won a few battles, in their war of the sexes. But they lost the war. One waits for how things will all fall out over the course of the next
generation or two, to see how bad the damage was, and what the final cost will
be.

Just goes to show you that all women are insane ... completely and totally insane. It's just a question of degree.

...But some of the wreckage is still standing. For instance, Fire departments used to have a strength requirement of being able to hoist a 180 lb (or was it 200 lb) individual to the shoulder carry position and then carry that individual down a flight of stairs and out the building to safety. This was because firefighters would actually have to do that in the line of duty. This requirement has all been eliminated to be able to allow females to occupy firefighter positions. This puts us all at risk. Just another case of mandated mediocraty caused by the feminazis. May they all be forced to render a BJ each evening! Heh.

Yes , we had the same games played in the military as well. Though we were indoctrinated told it would all work out in the end. Those with any common sense knew we had just lowered our standards and would continue to do so as the social experiments progressed.

That we have the high quality people in right now who are rising to exceed the standards . Says more about their pride, professonalism, and can do spirit, then it does about all the social engineering which has taken place.

A great deal of the damage has been the creation of zillions of public sector jobs to employ the bazillions who cannot hack the private sector, but expect good incomes for no other reason than they went to college, usually at someone else's expense. This is to make the whip of Big Government as Big Daddy provide, rather than depending on plain old Dad. It never leads to happiness, because the disgruntled taxpayers who actually pay for it all will never allow the hard-working but non-productive parasites to feel good about it. Nor should they.
