mama's in the hospital

She had to have the fluid drained from her lungs and she feels a lot better now. She should be able to come home tomorrow, although she's signed up for Hospice Care now. Things don't look good.

My mama deserves better than this.

What the Wolf said, I can't say any better. Here's hoping she has many more good days than bad days.

My Mamma went thru the very same thing about a year ago. Not nice.
She's no longer with us now, but she'll never leave us, if you know what I mean. Same with you.
This bullshit happens to us all. You gotta remember that ,or else you'll go crazy.

Hey Rob,

Lots of folks out here are keeping their fingers crossed for your mamma and for you. Best wishes to you both.

Be sure you say what you have to say and let it rip! Hard to do but it's even harder if you don't say it and have to live with THAT additional loss. My dad...Experience speaketh.

Posted by: Maggie on February 22, 2005 07:51 PM

I hope she feels better soon, Rob.

You and Miss Elva are in my thoughts and prayers. Also, what Maggie said. I was lucky and was able to say what needed to be said to my Dad. He was gone within the week.. Take care of her...............AND YOURSELF! Hugs from both of us here.
