gimme a break

I wrote this post almost a year ago and I still get comments on it. EVERY DAMN ONE now comes from some militant black fuckhead who calls me a racist and then blames all of his problems on the MAN keepin' da brother DOWN!

From these emails, I have learned that blacks invented fire, the electric light bulb, the internal combustion engine and rocket science. They just don't get any credit because da MAN be keeping them down. Just Damn! That must be rough to be so smart and still be content to live in a piss-hole.

I don't want to hear that shit anymore. I don't believe it and I don't buy your piss-poor excuse for personal failure. And I don't give a damn WHAT color you may be.

This world is your oyster. You can eat it if you try.

Comments

I have never in my life seen such a pile of shit than the comments that post attracted (and still attracts). I don't have a problem with the post - but Jeez, them comments! Full of hate and ignorance - and going at it in both directions. Feh.

Rob, you must like poking sticks into hornets' nests. Stirs them fuckers up, yes it does.

I'm 33, fairly well educated, and just learned last year that Eli Whitney was a white boy.

I KNOW I've heard him celebrated during "Black History Month..."

Is that the infamous post that made everybody hate you, Acidman?

All that barking and de-linking back then made me curious so I checked out your blog, (but not the offending one for some reason???), and liked it and have been reading it since.

I don't think you're a racist.

Buy you are a curmudgeon and you do have sex with whores.

Sincerely,

ET

While you are dumping on black men, I would add another fault they exhibit.

Black men really observe a color bar. It is very uncommon to see a black man with a woman of darker complexion than himself.

When you consider that black women have been the backbone of black society for the last 50 years, this seems like poor thanks.

As a father of girls, I have come to realize that daughters think their father's opinion of them is important. I often wonder how this affects the self image of black girls born into a mixed racial marriage. (Black man, white woman.) "My Daddy (and most black men it seems) prefers light skinned women. I am dark skinned." I tend to doubt there would be much Federal funding to study this issue.
