kill me!!! kill me now!!!

Bejus! I went to the grocery store today. I listened to the "Golden Oldies" station on the radio in my truck. One of those rare Ultimate Truth moments washed over me in the Kroger's parking lot.

Tommy James and the Shondells are the SHITTIEST BAND THAT EVER EXISTED!!! Hands-down. Beyond a shadow of a doubt. So far beyond other shitty bands that the contest isn't even close. In fact, I believe that they DEFINE a shitty band and will for a long, long time.

Now, I've got "Crystal Blue Persuasion" stuck like a worm in my ear.

If you shoot me immediately, it would be a mercy killing.

I could be worse.....Try going through the day with the "Starlight Vocal Band's" rendition of "Afternoon Delight" looping endlessly in the cobwebs of your mind. I almost had to sign the commitment papers over that one.

Naw!,Not even close........In the Year 2525 by Zedger and Evans? has got to be the worst song if not the group. Since that's the only song I ever heard out of them(who says there ain't a God?)I can't say if anything else they did lived up to the standards set by this song.

"Crimson and clover....Over and over...."

"Lowrider" has a good beat and you can dance to it.

By the way, "Crystal Blue" is a GREAT song, Dude. I love it.

Look on the bright side... it could have been that moronic "Free Bird" stuck in your brain.

Even I'd try to dislodge that song with a .45 bullet...

Didn't y'all ever make out under the pool table to those songs? The sappier and more synthetic, the easier it was!

That bit in my chapter of the blog-novella about the Herbie Hancock song "Rock-It" and a soldier having it as an ear-worm that he didn't want to die in battle with? True story from the first Gulf War...

Nope... "Billy, Don't Be A Hero" is the worst...

I guess you forgot about shag music.

I always liked "I Think We're Alone now" actually...

Tommy James and the Shondells weren't great, but they had The Ohio Express and "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I Got Love In My Tummy" beat six ways to Sunday.
