make me cry

If you've never done this, you won't understand. But if you HAVE done it, keep some Kleenex nearby when you read that post.

You'll cry.

I've had to make that trip 4 times so far, and in another year or two I'll probably be making it again (Same as Dean this time. Having to explain it to my 8yr old boy.).

And ya know what the worst part is fer me? It gets HARDER each time than it was the last...

I've had family members pass away that I didn't shed as many tears over as when I put my dogs down!

Been there, done that and will never forget the pain of it all.

And I'm gearing up to put myself in the position of having to do it all over again in another 10 years. After grieving over our last dog for the past 3 years, the boys and I are ready to honor her memory by adopting another dog. It's been a long hard road for them, as this is the first death of a family pet that they've had to endure.

So, sometime after Xmas, we'll be on the lookout for another saint bernard to adopt.

Which will give the snake that they conned me into buying enough time to settle in. Would you like pics of the new addition?

I cried like a baby when I put my mutt down last year. He was a damned good dog, even if his kidneys were leaking like a sieve and he was blind as a bat.

Damn, you made me cry! Why do I always click those links even when you warn us not to?

I have three dogs & I don't even want to think about that at all. Good dogs should live forever.

Joy said "Good dogs should live forever"

They do, in our hearts and memories.

Yeah, I've done it , will have to do it again many more times. I will never get use to it.

I've never had to do that myself... but it made me cry anyway.
Maybe i'm too emotional.
