Gut Rumbles

September 04, 2004

Or is it more of a kerry flop? The numbers don't look good for the Dems. The money quote for me?

Providing strong leadership: 56% said they trust Bush to provide strong leadership in difficult times, while 37% said they trust Kerry to provide leadership in difficult times.

That's a whopping difference. So much for that corny "Reporting for duty" line.

Years ago, in fact as soon after 9/11 as he thought decent, Rush began talking about the prospective 2004 Dem nominee as the "designated victim."

That must have been the duty Kerry was reporting for.

besides all that, the guy looks like Herman Munster and sometimes Gomer Pyle. I can't, in good conscience, vote for somebody that looks like that.

You know, I wish I could find the original news item on Kerry's big act of volunteering for the Navy. Seems he never actually, technically did. He volunteered for the Naval Reserve thinking he'd never be called up. I found that humorous on a lot of levels. Oh, and this after one awarded deferment and one rejected deferment.

Reporting for duty, my ample ass.

Where did I pick up Frank as my latest troll? He's new to me.

He can't write, he can't punctuate and his head is full of shit, so I figured I would have seen him trolling elsewhere by now.

Maybe I'm just special.
