fake names

I confess: my real name is NOT "Acidman." I made that up. I invented it, just to fool all of you people. I thought it sounded better than "Rob Smith" on a blog such as this one. So, I concocted a fake identity.

That mistake can create scandal today, if leftist moonbats don't like you. Unfortunately for me, I'm not gay or the lefties would have me in the double-whammy. The Party of Compassion doesn't like gays or fake names unless the gays want to get married in Blue states and the fake names belong to Democrat politicians.

The left would be amusing in their selective outrage over nothing if they weren't so goddam dangerous.

Comments

I can't believe anybody would use a fake name. How disingenuous.

.. hi, my name is Eric... no, really...

There is a rather large difference between you and I using pseudonyms to express our opinions, and someone using one to obtain a White House press pass and thus a seat at the president's soapbox.

Some crap leftist site I read contained the comment, "Being gay isn't a problem. Being a prostitute posing as a journalist in the white hour press is." When pretty much all "professional journalists" are commies who are sucking the right's dick and/or giving the left a reacharound, the first rule of Journalism Club is you don't talk about Journalism Club.

(At least one of Guckert's escort websites appears currently active. Three or four of pages where he advertised himself for sale were active as of last week. His websites were being updated at least until late last year (November, I believe). When asked "Why did you do this?", he responds, "I made mistakes in the past.")

Damaged Justice, I don't understand your point, if you had one...

And that would be...?

I didn't phrase that right. I'm asking DJ who it was that used a fake name to get a White House pass.

Whoever you're thinking of, it ain't Guckert.

Acidman,
I tracked back to this post if you are interested in reading just how whacked out some of the lefties are over this non-story. Take a look at the comments some of the children left.

I suppose my main point would be that he's a liar.

A liar in the media!!?? That's outrageous! It's intolerable! We have to DO something about this!!!

Alert the ... er ... never mind.

Guckert didn't use a fake name to obtain a Whitehouse press pass. He gave his real name and soc sec number on the application for a day pass and it was granted. Indeed, that is how the leftist wolf pack found out what his real name was.

Guckert's sin was not using a pseudonym, and it was not being gay. Nope, his sin - unpardonable in the Washington press corps - was not being rude and overtly hostile towards the Bush administration.

The media treatment of Guckert is a prime example of how intolerant the minions of tolerance actually are.

Roy has it right on the "fake name" issue. Apparently the lefty asshats don't have any problems with Walter Krankenhaus [Walter R. Cronkite], Larry Ziegler [Larry King], Michael Wiener [Michael Savage], Egbert Murrow [Edward R. Murrow]. The whole flap over Gannon/Guckert is a flamingly obvious effort to zap a righty journalist.
