dead "insurgent"

The picture here is not for those with a weak stomach. It kinda warmed the cocklear regions of my heart when I saw it, but I've always considered the insurgents to be brainless anyway.

This one surely is.

I tend to agree with you on the notion of a dead insurgent--ERRR-- terrorist but I gaurantee that the photo of the guy holding the .50 cal was not taken in Iraq.

Also, I have my doubts about the now brainless guy being Iraqi. Could be wrong about that though.

The shooter photo is likely a shot of the guy who did the ventilating, though not one specifically taken in Iraq.

God damn, a .50 to the forehead is certainly high on the list of methods to dispatch terrorist swine.

This reminds me of my favorite quote from David Warren in the Ottowa Citizen:

In the rather shocking words of a British Afghan expert, a man I believe to be deeply humane: "Real progress requires that we address root causes, which means putting bullets through the right foreheads."

... or the left foreheads."

Two thoughts on the second picture....
1) Remember, our snipers can drop you any time, any place...have a nice day.

2) Reason #3 why you should never attempt to plug your nose when you feel a sneeze coming on.

It was too good for him.

I'm reminded of a scene in Rainbow Six where the sniper has a particularly bad BG in his sights and gets the order to take him out. But he aims low and instead of blowing the MF's head off he blows his guts out.

Gave the terrorist a little time to think about what he'd done wrong, since what he probably wanted to do -- scream in agony at the top of his lungs -- wasn't exactly possible anymore.

Agreed. Not taken in Iraq, much less the Green Zone. Too green and wet an hilly in terrain. Regardless, the point is made and the concept is excellent! Stupid Achmed!
