Gut Rumbles

Here is a Tacoma Papoose, (on the left) posing next to a Fender Telecaster in my living room. I put the Fender in there just to give you an idea about the size of the dwarf guitar. (Plus, my Fender is so goddam ugly that you just have to love it!)

The 'Poose plays like the real thing, though.

Get a uke. I want to see your Tiny Tim tribute.

You're not kidding, they're amazing instruments. First saw a Tacoma several years ago in a shop in Lawton. Kept thinking about the damn thing, and two weeks later drove down and bought it. Mine is a six-string cutaway body and is wonderful.
In the period between seeing it and buying it, found a Papoose in a shop in Fort Worth. Friend of mine was along, and we were both amazed at the sound that came out of that little thing.

Swineherd just told me that the 'Poose reminds him very much of Torchpraise's pecker. Yes indeed, we're both amazed at the sound that comes out of that little thing.

It actually whistles when he beats off.

Acidman, perhaps he has a pump malfunction. Can Roscoe advise?

Will Gandolf and Frodo be jamming later this evening?

That is one nasty looking Telecaster. Is that a homegrown paint job? Same for the pick guard.

Probably plays like greased lightening, though.

That' s not a paint job. It's tobacco stain. And that pick guard came from the skinning of Rob's platform shoes during his unfortunate Bay City Rollers phase.

This is all good, but I've got a Vman lean on this. I'd just enjoy seein' somebody other then Tiny Tim(and me) tiptoe through the bullshit for once.

Do the uke.

Mountain Dew's next commercial. Just wait.

That actually looks like the Tele version of my Strat:

She had a black pearl pickguard before I put on a custom-painted one.

The black pearl pickguard came standard on some Teles & Strats:

Telecasters are soo fucking ugly. I've never liked that shape. But by christ if I could get my hands on a cheap one, I would buy it. They are sweetest things to play with.

That telly is pure pussy.

This Tele is NOT ugly:

This is a Custom Shop Tele, only 20 made for the now-defunct MARS Music store.

Purple finish, Flame Maple Neck, White Pearl Pickguard. The MARS logo stamped into the neckplate.

This one is #6 of 20.

My buddy, Alan, who used to work Receiving at the Springfield, VA MARS owns #1.
