Clinton Slams Starr in TV Outburst AP

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — In a prime-time television outburst, Bill Clinton ripped old nemesis Kenneth Starr and what the former president portrayed as a gullible media eager to report every "sleazy thing" leaked from a prosecutor bent on bringing him down.
The exchange came in an interview with ABC news anchor Peter Jennings that aired Thursday night, hours after Clinton opened his $165 million presidential library. Clinton blasted Starr and spoke disdainfully of a national media that he suggested was complicit in a scheme to ruin his presidency.
"No other president ever had to endure someone like Ken Starr," Clinton said. "No one ever had to try to save people from ethnic cleansing in the Balkans, and people in Haiti from a military dictator that was murdering them, and all the other problems I dealt with, while every day an entire apparatus was devoted to destroying him."

Apparently Billy Jeff wasn't paying attention when the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) were going after Nixon over a "third-rate burglary."

Oops, but wait. That was a threat to the Constitution itself. That was an attempt to subvert the holy electoral process. That was a totally unnecessary effort to defeat a Democratic presidential nominee who, as it turned out, lost in a 49-state landslide.

That was Nixon -- a Republican. Going after Republicans is always justified, and going after Democrats never is. Besides, the perjury, the abuse of power, that was all about sex (with a subordinate, which would be cause for a major scandal if, say, Ken Lay had done it while he was head of Enron).

Bill, shut the fuck up and go the fuck away.*

Absolutely hate Bill Clinton, a liar, a self serving asswipe who used the presidency as his own personal toy. It was always about "Bill" He will never get it. Nor do all his sycophants like Jennings. He was IMPEACHED and it was only massive dereliction of their sworn duty in the Senate that kept him from being removed from office.

I can hope, that like Kerry who finally had his infamous military record et.al. exposed showing him to be the scum he is, the sorrid Hill and BIll travesties will get the same in her run up for president. With the blossoming of the internet, one can dream.

Anyone saying he believed in human rights should think of Elian Gonzalez who was sent back to Cuba.
Remember the SWAT team with the weapon in that little boys face? Poor kid must have thought he was already BACK in Cuba.
He talks in that interview like he was the nation's moral compass. He wouldn't know a moral if it fell out of the sky sat on his face and wiggled...oh,wait.

Please don't compare Bill vs Tricky Dick. They were both creeps and I voted for Nixon twice. The only difference is that Dick did not have Hillary to rally the feminists behind him and save his ass.
