November 04, 2004Good adviceI was thinking about writing a post about what Bush should do with his second term, but this guy beat me to it. I believe that he laid out a pretty good plan there. As for me, I just hope that Bush maintains his resolve to win the War on Terror, caps the gusher of domestic spending he's allowed for four years and goes after the Democrats fang and claw if they try more of their obstructionist tactics to stall the Bush agenda. Bush isn't running for office now. I want to see the real man.

I believe he will. But the American people already has, and that's even more important. Your election showed that the votes are there if an American president wants to fight terror, make tough choices and persist in difficult situations, such as Iraq has become. When push comes to shove, the Americans respond to terror with "Let's roll!" You guys have made a very, very important decision about what kind of country you want to be, and consequently what kind of future you will have. You made it right. Tyrants and terrorists can let go of their false hopes now. America hasn't changed, not in the ways they needed it to have changed. Friends of America are smiling. :) I saw a clip of GW saying the election had given him political capital.......and he is going to spend it.
