what did I do right?

I've had more than 2,000 visits on a Sunday, without being linked to anybody in the Tall Dog category. That happenstance is most unusual. Bejus! Do you realize what a problem this causes me????

Now, I can't blame all my visits on people fucking off at work.

Maybe it's just because we like to see what you have to say -- whenever. Not all of us peons have the time or the wherewithall to get on-line freely at work (although the silly [expletive deleted]s of my now out-sourced to Perot Systems IT department have yet to figure out a block that I haven't managed to get around) But some of us actually WORK at work -- gotta come visit you on our own time! But of course you're always worth it

Mr. Smith,

Could it be that I wasn't the only one wondering if the tropical storm was affecting you this time? Besides, my inlaws were up for the weekend and had to go back to Savannah. I wanted a local weather check.

Against the odds, do try to maintain your humble approach.

Personally as a relatively new blogger, I find it a bit stressful, online or off. I reckon I can 'tell' when someone's reading my stuff, and frankly its a bit unsettling, you must be postively haunted! Dont' fret, despite what I think of your . . views, you are a likeable monster.

Maybe it's because I'M BAAAAAAACK ! ! !

And, guess what thick-necked, pencil-dicked, right-wing TV gas bag said this?

""The [911] attacks initially made me sorry I voted for [Bush] For most of that day, as my wife and children stayed inside our house listening to the roar of fighter jets overhead, and black smoke from the Pentagon hovered above our neighborhood, Bush failed to return to Washington. My family sat unprotected a few miles from the scene of a terrorist attack; Bush hid in a bunker on some faraway military base.

It infuriated me, as did the subsequent excuses from White House spokesman. There was a risk in coming back, they said. There was a risk in coming back, they said. Of course there was. That's the point: Leaders must take risks, sometimes physical ones. Bush should have elbowed his Secret Service detail out of the way and returned in a display of fearlessness to his nation's capital. I found it distressingly revealing that he didn't.:""

We're just doing it to mess you up. (Regular scheduled screwing off at work will resume shortly. Stay tuned for updates.)
