Gut Rumbles

I'm not driving, either

Traffic is crazy around here. Recondo has to take Georgia to the airport in about an hour, so I believe that I will retire to the hotel bar while he does that dirty work.

I'm at the LaQuinta Inn on Portland Avenue, if anyone wants to drop by.

That's the LaQuinta in Fife not Seattle.

Wow.....I wish we could get together, I could tell you stories!. I grew up in Seattle and tried to buy a building in Tacoma a few years ago. Fife is the city Seattlites joke about.
Have fun, Acidman. I'll watch your itinerary......if it looks like our paths will cross (anywhere from Los Angeles to the Oregon Coast), we should really try to meet up.

I once lived in Portand, Oregon, where the weather is a bit less insane than it is further up the coast there. I recall what we used to say:

What do you call the first sunny day after two days of rain?

Ryan, my middle son lived in Portland for 2 years, He said that downtown was just like Savannah. Have a good trip, Cat.

Don't know if I mentioned before that I live right across the Sound from Tacoma, in Port Orchard (that's by Bremerton). Next time you're up around here, let me know awhile before, and I'll probably even pick you up at the airport. That's actually the only part of Seattle/Seatac that I _don't_ mind driving to. And if you're not just there for one week or whatever this time, stop by. I'm not all that entertaining in person though, but my dad's a great cook.

Have a great time....Seattle is fun to visit...Your Georgia neighbor says so from her visit there.

Seattle area traffic sucks, welcome~!

Its now several hours after you posted this, and you're likely on to the next adventure, otherwise I might have stopped down for a drink. I've spent a lively evening watching a dish channel where the prorfams are discussing comparitive religions:)

I only live about 10 miles and 15 minutes (in normal traffic) from there.

Seriously. Recent weather has had many of us whining it's too hot, meaning you probably would have liked it. Big events in Seattle this weekend, Seafair, hydroplane races, Blue Angel flight show etc.
