There's just something both humbling and inspirational about a wild thunderstorm. I like them as much or more than this guy does. Of course, I don't ride mine out on a sailboat, at least not very often.

I've seen the sea angry. It reminded me of watching horror movies when I was a kid.

I was frightened, but I couldn't take my eyes off of it. I felt as alive as I've ever felt in my life.

It was beautiful.


I'm with you. Thunderstorms are fucking awesome.

Being on a sailboat in the middle of one would scare the crap out of me, but if I survived it I'd probably always remember it as beautiful.

Rob, thanks for the link my friend. Personally, I've been enjoying the rain here, but it's played hell on some other Island locales.

I guess the good news is they'll have a big sale there on a lot of shit I really don't need.
