September 30, 2003what makes a trollOkay, can somebody else explain it better that I can? Feel free. Maybe it's time for you to put your money where your mouth is and step up to the plate. Dave, I'll be 52 years old in less than five months. I believe that my age disqualifies me from military service. But I would be more that happy to whip YOUR ass. And I don't care how old you are. You probably believe that I will fight "fair." I will, too. I'll use whatever weapon I need to fairly whip your ass. I'll take wisdom over strength any day. Suckface. Comments
Back in 1991 when the first gulf war started I seriously considered joining the military, although I was in graduate school at the time with a wife to support. When the terrorist attacks occurred on September 11, 2001 I seriously considered joining the FBI, until I found out I was "too old" at 36. Now, when war is happening in Afghanistan and Iraq, and when "old Europe" is repeating their deplorable performance that we saw before in Bosnia (and every other time genocide occurred on their VERY DOORSTEP) of playing the ostritch, I do my best to be a good US citizen and contribute the only way I can. That is by voting, by participating in public discussion, by paying my taxes and not trying to find questionable deductions, and by hollering as loud as I can every time that I see the Constitution being subverted or our troops' lives being given in vain. Speaking your mind is not only a right in the United States, it is a civic duty. Agreement is not necessary, but there is a concept called "disagree but support" that is too large to fit in the minds of many. You can disagree with policy and still be patriotic, you can disagree with the President and still be a good citizen. Why is it that so many seem to think that speaking your mind, even when it's not the majority opinion, is EXACTLY what this nation is all about? Posted by: John Grant on September 30, 2003 09:10 PMI bet you'll keep "seriously considering" putting your ass on the line where your big, fat, stupid mouth is. You didn't serve, you don't deserve to say shit. So shut the fuck up and go back to impressing all of your retarded friends by playing Commander In Chief. Pussy motherfucker. Posted by: BJK on September 30, 2003 10:02 PMBJK. I'll meet you in the street any day, you fucking troll. Let's see who's the REAL pussy here. Dickwit. Posted by: Acidman on September 30, 2003 10:10 PMI am 66 yrs. old. Served in Korea. The only place Blow Job Ken ever served was -------. BOYS! Stop all this talk about violence. Rob, you go to your room and SHUT THE DOOR. If there's a "mass exodus" from the military, two things will happen. 1. Involuntary extensions will be issued as a stop-gap, and 2. Bennies for enlistment/reenlistment will improve to entice people to sign up/resign. It's simple supply and demand. There is no crisis. Posted by: GORDON on September 30, 2003 11:13 PMFight fair? Bullshit! I'll use every dirty trick I know till I get your face in the dirt with my foot on your neck. Fighting fair could cause me to feel pain. I'm a real wuss about that. I prefer to bring a gun to a knife fight than vice-versa. Lesson from sports: The aggressor seldom gets hurt. Lesson from 26 years USAF, including 217 combat missions in SE Asia: Overwhelming force is the best kind. I'm 63. There is no logic that leads to the idea that someone who hasn't "served" has no right to an opinion. BJK, you may have heard that there are civilians in each branch of our military who control those branches. They are the secretaries of those services. The Secretary of Defense is the top rank below the President. If you'd paid attention, you'd know there is no requirement for any of them to have "served". The system is a good one. Shut the fuck up. Your ignorance is showing, embarrassing me, a fellow veteran. Posted by: Larry on October 1, 2003 12:30 AMThe only ones who whine about others not serving are those who haven't served themselves or those who got the boot from the service. Posted by: Juliette on October 1, 2003 12:58 AMI bet that when or if BJK was in he was a REMF anyways..... What a putz..... Posted by: lip on October 1, 2003 05:32 AMOh good god, I thought that "chickenhawk" meme died months ago when the left realized that chickenhawks eat chickens. Yes, those who serve in the armed forces are doing a good thing and deserve support and respect. But we can't all serve. (I looked into it too, also too old, though I'm sure my health would have disqualified me too.) And what would become of our armed forces if only veterans "deserve to say shit" about it? We become a nation of Blow Job Kens, that's what. *shudder* Posted by: shell on October 1, 2003 08:14 AMYou're 52??? Could've fooled me. I thought 14, mebbe 15 tops. At 52 you still acting like some nasty ass deliquent. Jeebus! Posted by: Billy Joe on October 1, 2003 09:38 AMThe great thing about American is that all people have the right to speak their mind. There is no word 'irregardless' in the English language. The rest of Ray's message is unintelligible. Maybe Acidman can parse it, he's a writer after all.
