Gut Rumbles

August 13, 2003

I seem to have rid myself of the worm, but I really don't know how I did it. I would call it a miracle, but I think that it was more like a massive download of everything I could find to counteract the bastard. My readers sent me a lot of advice with simple instructions.

I LIKE simple instructions.

Anyway, I seem to be okay now, at least as far as the blog goes. I ain't okay worth a shit in my personal life.

Anybody got a patch for that?

here is a patch that might help:

go to

buy ten cases of jack daniels.

store the ten cases in the pantry.

crack open one bottle.

take a deep gulp and feel the fire rumble in your gut.

repeat until you pass out.

if problem still remains tommorrow, re-apply patch.

this is a free patch courtesy of mr. helpful because, well, hell, i am nothing if not helpful, eh?

Mr. Helpful beat me to it. I was going to suggest drowning yourself in bourbon until you passed out.

Sure, your troubles are still there the next day but you did only ask for a patch.

Now drink up!

I give up, I've drank too much and I'm horribly aware that nothing I say changes anything..
but you're asleep anyway...I think I'll join you

Is Johney Walker any better than JD? Just asking!

I don't even think I'll touch this one.

JW is a better dresser. You can see him each week on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

Well, A-Man: part of it is your hardwired code and part of it is the software you've installed, willy-nilly, into your personal OS. One would have to spend a considerable amount of time analyzing all that to determine if a patch could be developed or if it would even help.

Of course, that might be kinda fun, don'tcha know.

Same here, I don't know what did it, but I downloaded the hell out of stuff and *poof* it's gone!

(I hope so anyway)

Two patches to offer:

"Time heals all wounds"

"Time wounds all heels"

In the words of Lazarus Long-" I don't seek revenge on my enemies- I just outlive 'em"

I'd offer to patch you up, but you live a long ways away.
