Gut Rumbles

Dave asked that I mention Rob will be cremated as per his wishes, and that in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Diabetes

A practial man to the end. 'Pup and I made the same request at our wedding (as per gifts) and will also be requesting donations to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes.

I hope all those able to attend his memorial and after service celebration tell some wonderful stories, and I would wish that someone record those stories somehow.

It may be the only way his son ever gets to really know him.

It's so strange how someone so far away, so different, and that you have never met can affect you. Although I didn't agree with quite alot of what Rob wrote, I respected his voice, commitment to his word and obvious intelligence. He is one of the first blogs I have ever read. I lost my own father (he was only 57) last week and hearing the news of Rob passing brough fresh tears to my eyes. My sympathy and love are with the family and all who cared for Rob ... as I had come to.

Just got acquainted with Rob through his blog recently, but had quickly developed a sincere admiration and respect for him. He'll be missed here in the virtual world hust as he is in his real world.
RIP, Rob, and keep on kicking ass where ever you are!
