cat-lovers in action

Yeah, this is pretty sickening, too.

Corrupt politicians. Nasty cats. Shit-filled houses.

Not much difference, really, is there?

Nasty ass bastard.Dr. Phil had a man on TV yesterday with a house full of cats, nasty and his whole family moved out and left dad and the cats. They all moved into a trailer next door. Plus the man, did not ever throw anything away.

Rather have a house full of cats than a house full of Welfare-babies.

The losers next door have been dumping catfood on the driveway to feed their cat for months now. It's been wandering off and getting knocked up and the new cats then follow her back. Started up the Suburban last Friday and what a racket from under the hood. Three of the urchins had taken up residence in my radiator fan housing. Broke off half the blades. Had to take off a half day of work and fix it.

I trapped my third cat overnight for the city to come pick up. I don't know how many more are left but it's worth all the cans of tuna I'm using as bait.

That's horrible.
The same thing just happened in Gloucester, NJ, too. Think I read about it on FARK.

Those people can't possibly really love alla these cats.
They may think they do but, they couldn't do that to 'em, if they really did.

The Animal Investigators on Animals Cops (on the, yes, Animal Planet channel) say it's almost like a mental disease with these "hoarders".

They think they're doing good, but... anybody else can see they're not, not really. Not for the animals, whether it's cats, dogs or what, nor for themselves.

And, yeah, I take care of more cats than, probably, 72 other people put together, but... I live on a farm and they're not all stuck in a house.

It's just a bad, sad situation, all the way around.
You know that's true when the best thing that could happen for most of these poor animals is to be put to sleep...

Just damn.

Stevie, I must agree. I have my two little nuetered cats that I love very much, and don't mind taking care of. But jesus, thats a whole lotta cats. Even as a stay at home mom I wouldn't have time to take care of that many...

How sad.

The unusual thing about this case is that it was a MAN. Most pet hoarders are women, older women, who live alone...(alone, that is, except for all the cats)

I have 8 cats (all indoors) I have a full basement where I have 4 litterboxes (that are cleaned daily) Eight cats are easily manageable, 62 cats (like this guy had) are NOT. (plus its batshit crazy, just on general principles)

I had a an elderly neighbor (a woman, estranged from her kids) and I forget how many cats she had (double digits though) and even though she let them OUT, she had a huge odor problem in her house. She invited me in once to show me this old black and white photo she had of herself and JACK DEMPSEY, they were standing outside his restaurant in NYC where she had worked as a "cigarette girl", ANYWAY, as I stood there looking at this amazing photo, MY EYES were BURNING, as was my throat. The smell of ammonia from the cat urine was killing me....(I was taking such shallow breaths, I thought I was going to faint, literally)

She has long since moved away.....and she no doubt isnt even alive anymore....and I often wonder what ever became of that most interesting photo....
