i post, you decide

Here's a really intelligent comment:

People are different everywhere you go. Not everyone is like those
idiots you heard and saw in Waffle House. There are still people around of every age with manners and common sense. By the way, why are you eating at Waffle House. You couldn't pay me to eat there. The foods is really gross. I would go to McDonald's before I went to Waffle House. Surely, you could find something better.

I don't think so. I might have to sit next to YOU, asswipe.

I like Waffle House, although they're few and far between in Ohio. Also, I'm a regular at Mickey D's. It pisses off the French.

A Waffle House snob?

That's pretty sad.

Maybe if WH added the playgrounds, they'ld have a new customer.

I would not eat a McDonald's soybean and worm burgher on abet but they do have better coffee than Waffle House.

But that said I hope your commenter enjoyed his/her Happy Meal

What has 12 teeth, an IQ of 100 and smells of coffee and cigarettes?

A full counter at the Waffle House.

I still think Waffle House has the best hash browns of any of the franchise eateries.

As a bona fide Yankee, one of the things I like about heading south is a trip or two to a Waffle House. Great hangover chow.

The last time I went to Waffle House, the place was filthy and the food was not very good. I vowed I would never eat there ever again, and I have stayed away. I do, however, like Huddle House. It is a far superior restaurant that Waffle House in my humble opinion. Oh well, we all have different tastes. That is what makes the world go round.

If you have never eaten at Waffle House, believe me, you are not missing anything.

What's a waffle house? Is there a web site?

Posted by: Lisa on May 16, 2006 09:28 PM

Come on guys! WH is the closest thing the South has to diner. As a Yankee who was raised eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Parkway Diner, the WH has better coffee, better eggs and bacon, and the chop steak ain't too bad either. Plus, I don't have to watch any more yutz's drinking Pepsi and milk! Yuk!

I like the senior breakfast at IHOP....enough for two people at around $5.00. Can't beat that.

Dang! I read my comment again and it makes me look much older than I feel. "Senior" breakfast....when did I get old enough for a senior breakfast?

Posted by: Tessa on May 17, 2006 09:37 AM

Hell, Waffle House used to be THE place to eat when I was going home drunk at 2:30 a.m. I don't do that anymore, but it's still good eatin'. One of the best pork chops I ever had was at a Waffle House just outside Birmingham.

I liked it so much that I was sucked into managing for them for the last 20 years. Damn.

Some of them can be filthy, but I damn sure prefer seeing what they are doing to my food as opposed to other restaurants. I have worked brief stints at other places such as Fridays, etc.. and THEY can be extremely disgusting. They just hide it behind closed doors.
