Gut Rumbles

well said

Obviously, I'm not the only one in blogdom who thinks that Pajamas Media needs to be dragged off and shot. Buncha greedy bastards. Buncha pimps and whores. Buncha defilers of blogdom. Fuck 'em all.

Of course, I'm just saying that because I am bitter, heartbroken and crushed by the fact that I wasn't invited to join their exclusive Country Club.

Shit, I wouldn't belong to any club that would take you as a member.

Or, for that matter, me.

Yeah, well, fuck you, too.

My sentiments exactly, being a member of any club that would have me that is.

PJM is making work out of bloggin'. Hell, I do it for the fun of it and to kill time and if somebody reads it then my ego gets stroked. It is habit forming but I don't want it to be work-I quit that shit when I retired.

I'm with GuyK on this... the blogging is a vent valve, fun, and if someone wants to read and comment, that's great.

Banding together to report on news, though... Seems like you're making a solid entity for "them" to swipe at and such. Pressure to conform might also arise. I like my blogs to be foot loose and bullshit-free. :)

Maybe we didn't nominate you because we know you don't play that game?

I don't even know what the "Pajamas Media" is.
Is it people who blog in their pj's?
I don't wear pj's, I blog naked.

Note to self, visit Livey
I stopped following the members of the PJM when I figured out all they did was link to each other and rarely write anything worth reading on their own.

So far the most interesting thing about Pathetic Joke Media has been the posts of the mutineers which have been wildly amusing. Thanks for the links. I've been falling behind on the gossip on account of my work schedule.

You should read all the things Steve at Hog On Ice has said about them.

Posted by: Adam Lawson on December 6, 2005 02:41 PM

Er, whoops, meant to put a link in. Hog On Ice.

Posted by: Adam Lawson on December 6, 2005 02:42 PM

I've been reading Steve's stuff at the Hog place for a while. In fact, I occassionally lurk at most of the blogs on the blogroll here since I've got hooked on Acidman.

But through the PJ debacle, I've discovered a few new rightwing bloggers I can relate to and enjoy reading as well. That would include Dennis/Ken and Laurence. I appreciate strong opinions, even when I don't agree with them entirely. The only thing I can't stand is pompousity.
