November 01, 2005Letter #2 From Acidman -To The BlogYou people don't know how good you make me feel with the cards and letters you've sent me. I look forward to the mail call every day. I've had a rough first week and I really haven't had time to send back replies to all you kind people. I'm dashing this off quickly between classes. By the time we're finished at night, I'm too exhausted to write and they give us HOMEWORK too! I hope to get some time this weekend to write back a lot of you. In the meantime, just take this as a blanket "Thank You" to you all. I hope you enjoy the guest bloggers until I get back in December. Don't forget about me - I shall return in a new and improved version. -Acidman
BTW, this is his daughter.

Man, I didn't know I was gonna miss his writing THIS much...so its really nice to see these posts from him (even though its not the same commenting when you know he's not getting the realtime feedback). WHO could forget Acidman? Nope. Ain't gonna happen. Posted by: Jane on November 1, 2005 04:16 PMCould someone maybe put a date in the future or something on the letters from Rob? His letters should be on top, because the other one got lost in all the posts. Just a thought...thanks. That way for the many of us that take a minute or two to pop in and see how he's doing would be able to see that info? Posted by: Kel on November 1, 2005 04:17 PMThanks SAM for posting the letters...love ya! Posted by: Kel on November 1, 2005 04:18 PMHi Sam! I hope things are going well for YOU! Posted by: Kate on November 1, 2005 05:01 PMThank you Sam for posting this... Rob, I hope my snail mail cards aren't pissing you off........working on my sick sense of humor. I know this has been tough but when you're laying on your face, the only direction is UP. So keep it UP! Your head, your motivation, and your spirits. Hurry back! Sam, I've missed you. My life isn't the same without the horrors of poison sumac stories! I know this has been a real hard year for you too. So I'm wishing UP for you and Stacy, et al. Thanks for playing secretary for the old man. Posted by: Maggie on November 1, 2005 06:40 PMHey Sam! Thanks for helping your dad out this way! The best answer Rob can give to my letter (and any future ones I might send) is for him to just git 'er done, and get back to us whole and healthy. Posted by: McGehee on November 1, 2005 10:09 PMZen Hugs to you, Sam. I sent the third envelope of photos today. I hope he doesn't try to reply. I want him to study and NOT flunk out! Posted by: robert on November 1, 2005 10:25 PMKeep on keepin' on, Rob! You gotta do what you gotta do and I'm damn proud of you. Thanks for keeping everyone updated, Sam. Posted by: Da Goddess on November 2, 2005 04:59 AMGlad things are going well. I would have sent a card, had my city not been destroyed by bad weather for the second time this fall. Posted by: Steve H. on November 2, 2005 08:44 AMGlad to hear you're feeling a little better. I did a stint in a treatment center 8 years ago and I know they do keep you busy. Get yourself a good sponsor in your AA and USE him. Mine saved my life. Can't wait till you get back! Posted by: DrugStore Cowboy on November 2, 2005 09:13 AMKeep it going buddy, can't wait till you are back. Best part of my boring day is visiting your site. Glad to hear you are getting better.
