fuck you mununvians

What is it about your host? It won't remember my name in the comments and I can't even copy and paste something from there. Got-dam! I've got another "quote of the day" that I want to post, but it doesn't work, thanks to mu-nu. Piece of shit.

I'd rather have a rusted .22 pistol than that service. I AT LEAST know how to clean the pistol. Now, if I want to post the quote, I have to type the entire damned thing. There's no fucking excuse for that shit, but I'm going to do it because I am stubborn and I won't let a stupid computer program whip my ass.

"Sometimes I don't think that Mother Nature has a subtle bone in her body. We often think that we see it in sunrises or gentle breezes, but we are wrong. Subtlety is a MANMADE idea... we humans dreamt it up as a tool for civilizing each other. Mother Nature may abhor a vacuum, but she DESPISES a weakling."

That's the nature I know.

That's a great quote, and I'd give him all kinds of link-love if mu-nu wasn't such an asshole to deal with.

Well isn't that special. I am just getting ready to move from Blogturd to Munuviana and now you tell me Its a Jim Jones wannabe.........Thanks for shitting in my Cheerios

Hey Billy,

Here's some free advice. Take it for what it's worth.

Get your OWN fucking domain name.

Any blog worth a shit has its own .com, .net or .dildo address. How many popular blogs are listed: JoesBlog.shitstain.blogs.cumsuckers ? How many people would type in

You get the idea.

Well your blog won't remember my name either, even when I click "remember info".

But the idea of joining the collective sort of creeps me out. Not that there's anything wrong with the individual members--lots of great bloggers there. But the idea of a place run by a guy named Reverend Pixy Misa is...well, it triggers the imagination a bit much.

A year ago or so they were on a "membership drive" of sorts, trying to recruit bloggers to join the collective: "It's a great place. We're nice! You'll like it here. You will be *assimilated*!! Moo Noo! Moo Noo!" (picture Gary Larsen cows wearing sheets with eyeholes over their bodies, staggering forward on hind hooves with front hooves thrust forward).

(Ok, that's over the top, and I have an overactive imagination. But still...)

Blogspot is reasonably functional, and free. If I ever get ambitious and want a change, I'll move my blog to my (currently idle) domain name.

Yeah, I see your point........clearly.

I typed in JoesBlog.shitstain.blogs.cumsukers and It did not work..........Bummer

Cat, How wuz the trip?

Posted by: Billy Budd on July 25, 2005 10:51 PM

Pixy is good people. Don't judge a guy by his pseudonym.

I was offered a spot over there, but (unlike most bloggers) I STARTED with my own domain and paid hosting from day one and I'm never going to be beholden to ANYONE for anything if I can help it.

Even if it's to people I like.

I'd rather own a place than be a permanent guest, no matter how friendly the host.

Shiite, dudes...what part of 'FREE!' confuses you?

Posted by: Bane on July 26, 2005 02:15 AM

.. hey, rightisright... I've got my own domain name... my ".com", as you put it... and I had that long before I started being hosted by so, "for what its worth"... you can freely go to, or you can just bite me...

... and Acidman, if you want to cut and past from the post.. just go to the permalink for the post.. you can cut and paste to your heart's content... the problem you mentioned is a design flaw with my website, and not a problem with munu's hosting....

MIne should also be similarly friendly. I fixed it a while back.

And Rob... the fact that blogs won't remember your info in comments has nothing to do with It's a flaw in Microsoft's lovely Internet Exploder browser that refuses to remember cookies for 2-letter domain names.

There are a lot of terrific, talented bloggers at who would have long ago given up in frustration if they hadn't been able to move to Pixy's free(!) service.

Billy Budd, it was fine but I'm lazy and haven't posted about it yet.

Graumagus, yes I know. I did say I had an overactive imagination...:)
