this is the difference

I am sick and tired of leftists who try to excuse the behavior of Islamist splodey-dopes. here is the difference between us and them. And if you can't see that, you are one fucked-up individual.

Yeah. Go after Karl Rove. And kiss my Cracker ass while you're at it.

Comments

Civility and intelligent dialogue are useful tools among intelligent people' but are inappropriate for engaging with you and most of your commenters.

'Part of the problem is liberals are in general far more intelligent, well-reasoned and educated and will go to astonishingly great lengths to convince people of the integrity and validity of our fair and well thought-out arguments.

You and your readers are contitutionally incapable of getting it! That's why we get Bush in the White House and American boys (and girlsI) blown to bits in some god-forsaken sand pit that never, ever was a real threat to us.

The problem is not the liberals who point out the lies told to the world to justify invading a foreign land, it is you and most of your audience who are too stupid, irrational and delusional to see the real world for what it is.

So, go back to church, sing a hymn, clean your guns and shut the fuck up.

Posted by: Michael on July 16, 2005 11:41 AM

Huh? WTF does a soldier making his country proud have to do with a scumbag politician leaking the name of a CIA agent?

Posted by: The Other Mike S on July 16, 2005 11:50 AM

Sorry Acidman if you up for giving Rove a pass. No matter what side of the political fence you're on, outting the identity of an undercover CIA operative is wrong. Plain and simple. Treasonous even. IF you support that rat you've lost any and all respect I might have for you.

Right and wrong. period.

Posted by: Jon on July 16, 2005 12:04 PM

I don't get it. Rove blows the cover of a WMD CIA agent endangering her and her contacts and colleagues. You stand up for Rove as he lies about who knew what and told who.

Bill Clinton gets a blow job from some stalking skank intern in the closet outside the oval office, lies about it and you want to warm up Old Sparky.

Is there any logic to explain this? And don't start with the liberal leftist crap. I don't think politics has any thing to do with it. It's something deeper.

Posted by: Bruce on July 16, 2005 12:30 PM

I too would like to know what this crap has to do with a soldier taking a shot from a sniper, getting right back up, locating the sniper and his cameraman, firing on them, chasing them and administering aid to the very assholes that tried to kill him.

"A fanatic is someone who can't change his mind and won't change the subject" I think old Winnie was right.

Allright, I'll play your game:
Why won't Judith MIller talk? Rove has already given clearance to everyone to discuss what he said "on background". Could it be someone else that talked?

Why is nobody down Novak's throat for his public disclosure of Plame?

Why is nobody discussing Wilson's lies...er... misstatements and the disparity between his report to the CIA and his testimony to the Senate subcommittee and his newspaper rants and book?

If Novak told Rove, according to the NYTimes, and Novak had two sources, who were they? To say that either one was Rove defies logic.

Go copy and paste suitable answers to those questions, please. I'll have more later.

Posted by: StinKerr on July 16, 2005 01:03 PM

Is the war against Al Qaeda in Iraq generating results?

I don't think so. Nearly 1,800 troops dead, 50,000 injured, 130,000 innocent Iraqis have been killed.

How many Al Qaeda terrorists have been killed, injured or captured. All we know is there have been 581 suicide bombers in Iraq.

Honestly Acidman, do you think it's working? Can't blame leftist/liberals here. Bush is in charge. He's stupid, but he's not a liberal.

Posted by: George on July 16, 2005 01:05 PM

Whoa.

Definitely the perfect example of how we differ from them.

The Allah Akbar chanting made me sick.

Posted by: blondage on July 16, 2005 01:10 PM

Micheal,

"Civility and intelligent dialogue are useful tools among intelligent people' but are inappropriate for engaging with you and most of your commenters."

Okay, "So, go back to church, sing a hymn, clean your guns and shut the fuck up" is your brand of cilivity and intelligent dialogue???

"'Part of the problem is liberals are in general far more intelligent, well-reasoned and educated and will go to astonishingly great lengths to convince people of the integrity and validity of our fair and well thought-out arguments. "

That is just an absolutely assinine statement.

"You and your readers are contitutionally incapable of getting it! That's why we get Bush in the White House and American boys (and girlsI) blown to bits in some god-forsaken sand pit that never, ever was a real threat to us."

Not capable of getting it? Seems like you guys are the ones not getting it when the Dem party keeps losing more and more at the ballot box. Heeellllloooooo

"The problem is not the liberals who point out the lies...."

Please name one lie, just one.

Yes, you fellas just keep looking down your nose at us church going, hymn singing, gun toting.......

Posted by: DavidB on July 16, 2005 01:47 PM

The Other Mike S, Jon, Bruce, et al.

Rove doesn't need a pass on this. You guys need to quit listening to the barking moonbats.

1. Journalists informed him of the identity of V. Plame. Novak in particular.

2. She was not a covert agent.

I predict Wilson will be the one that loses big out of this.

Posted by: DavidB on July 16, 2005 01:58 PM

DavidB,

Not to mention the fact Wilson has consistently LIED since the beginning of this partisan witch hunt.

The funniest part is that he claims this is not about partisanship.

This coming from a consultant and contributor to the failed John F'in Kerry campaign who just appeared side-by-side with Chuckles Schumer.

Posted by: rightisright on July 16, 2005 02:01 PM

And, then shit like this happens. Bush says they hate our freedom.

Some of them hate us because of shit like this.

Eleven U.S. soldiers have been charged with assaulting detainees in Iraq after another soldier complained about the alleged assaults. The soldiers were supposed to guard a group of suspected insurgents at an Iraqi military camp west of Baghdad. Instead they allegedly initiated an unjustified assault on the suspects. All but one suspect were later released.

The soldiers were taken off-duty pending the investigation, the military said, adding that the Army's Criminal Investigation Division would determine whether they should face trial by court-martial.

Posted by: evelyn on July 16, 2005 02:30 PM

So, with no detention centers, no idiots like these soldiers mentioned above and no war, they just loved us on 9/11.

And I suppose that the soldiers mentioned above cut off the heads of some of the detainees.

Or maybe Zarqawi court-martialed his troops for "abusing" Nick Berg or Paul Johnson.

Yes? No?

Please.

Save that "why do they hate us" crap for the blame-America-first crowd.

DavidB,

The church loving, bible thumping, delusional nitwits you identify with are part of the problem of what's wrong in the world today.

It don't matter if it's fundamentalist muslims suicide-bombing to 77-virgin heaven or if it's nitwits like this guy:

>>This is ... my overall philosophy of childrearing. I am aiming to raise up violent sons.

I am not seeking to raise sons who are violent in the amoral, pagan sense of contemporary teenagers playing "Grand Theft Auto" video games or carjacking motorists. I want them to be more violent than that.

I want them to understand that the Christian life is not a Hallmark Channel version of baptized sentimentality. Instead, it is a cosmic battle between an evil dragon and the child of the woman, an ancient warfare that now includes all who belong to the Child of the Promise (Rev 12).

I want them to forgive their enemies, not because they are good boys, but because they understand that vengeance against the Serpent comes not from their hand, but from that of the anointed Warrior-King (Rev 19), whose blood-soaked garments don't often transfer to the imagery of a Precious Moments wall-hanging.

And I want them to exercise self-control of their passions, not because it is polite, but because they are called to struggle against the Evil One,...<<

Bush says, outloud, with pride that God talks to him, tells him what to do.

I says, doesn't matter if it's God or the Dog talking to him, he's fucking nuts and sure as hell don't belong in the White House with his finger on the trigger.

Posted by: Randy on July 16, 2005 02:46 PM

Get a grip, people!

What Rove and his buddies did was despicable. It was unpatriotic. More likely than not, it was even criminal. But it wasn't "treason," and Karl Rove isn't a "traitor," either in plain English or in law.

In plain English, a traitor is someone who, for whatever reason, fights for or otherwise helps an enemy foreign power making war, or preparing to make war, on his country...

Oops! Plame was an undercover CIA agent working on WMDs. The guys with those, according to Bush were preparing to make war on us. So Rove IS a traitor. Got-damn!

Ah yes, moral equivalence at it's best. The famous cant of the left.

Damned fundamental Christians blowing up people in Bali, Madrid, Belsen, London, NYC, etc.

And how about them Baptists who throw acid on the faces of their women, bury them up to their heads in sand then stone them with just the right sized rocks and kill their daughters because they were raped?

Posted by: rightisright on July 16, 2005 03:22 PM

Randy, forget to take your meds today? I did not understand a word of that and I read it 5 times.

Posted by: DavidB on July 16, 2005 03:52 PM

Daniel,

Just what was IT that Rove and his buddies did?

Posted by: DavidB on July 16, 2005 03:55 PM

If Rove is found guilty of blowing the cover of a covert CIA operative then he should do hard time. However, what is good for the gander is good for the goose and the democrats in the senate and house who habitually leak classified data will have to join him in the slammer.

130,000 innocent Iraqis have been killed

CITE YOUR SOURCE for the 15th frigging time.

Also define CIVILIAN.

Posted by: Yogimus on July 16, 2005 04:52 PM

And we see again on this thread that leftists hate Bushco more than the splodydopes who wish to conquer us. I dispise this administration, just as I have most of those in my lifetime, the power-mongering greedheads: but I can tell the difference between them and the muslim maniacs who see everyone who disagrees with them as infidels requiring slaughter. The left is focusing on corrupt bankers and lawyers while ignoring those who want to kill us all in the name of Allah. It's like they are plinking at shoplifters while ignoring the semi about to run them over. "None so blind as those who will not see."

Posted by: Stu on July 16, 2005 04:58 PM

Sorry Stu. It's plain as shit on a shoe. My family, my kids, my job, my life and my country is in more danger because of Bush and what he's done (and not done.)

And quoting the bible shows only the extent to which you've been indocrinated into the mindless christian god nonsense.

You want blind? Keep reading the bible and watching Fox News.

Posted by: Earl on July 16, 2005 05:57 PM

Yogi, how many dead innocent Iraqis would be acceptable to you? The kids who blew up getting candy? Is that okay? Or the boys playing soccer across the road from US troops? "They were running away" the sergeant said. These are civilians moron.

Posted by: Justice on July 16, 2005 06:08 PM

That link would have been news if it had occured on Fort Stewert, GA, home of the 3rd ID. But it happened in Iraq, a place we should not be. For all I know, just another case of an Iraqi shooting a member of an occupying army. I am very glad the pfc lived. It's not his fault he is over there, but when you invade a soverign nation under false pretenses, can you really expect them NOT to fight back? Saddam was an evil, brutal dictator, but he was also our ally during a signifigant part of his reign. We paint him as the fucking anti christ now, but we turned a blind eye to him for most of the 70s and 80s. We did not give a fuck when he gassed the kurds the first time, so why do we make a big deal of it now?

Posted by: Dave on July 16, 2005 07:22 PM

Earl, that smell ain't shoes, it's in your head. I *don't* watch Fox news, nor the other babblebox propaganda artists. I search the net for sources close to events. The Islamists were after us when W was only a threat to Texans. You can insult Christians all you want but that just shows you don't have a case to argue and have to resort to name-calling. I never claimed Bush & co. made us safer, only that we'd better be gearing up to fight the folks that plainly state they're out to kill us.
BTW, the phrase you object to isn't in the Bible:"The proverb has been traced back in English to 1546 (John Heywood)...In 1738, it was used by Jonathan Swift in his 'Polite Conversation,' and is first attested in the United States in the 1713 'Works of Thomas Chalkley'..." (sorry for the extended quote, Rob, I had to punch that leftist's bubble.)

Posted by: Stu on July 16, 2005 08:27 PM

It's amazing how many people don't open a book, bible or otherwise.

Posted by: Juliette on July 16, 2005 09:14 PM

The presecutor has exhibited more than a touch of genius in the Plame leak matter . . .

As for Wilson, he most specificially did not lie, but merely exposed the yellowcake forgery for what is was. That Bush used such a forgery as justification for attacking a country that had not attacked us, and did so in a speech before the entire nation, makes it rather evident who has been lying all along.

This shall be most interesting . . .

What color is the fucking sky where you live?

DumbAss.......

That was a very witty retort, as have been all of your remarks thus far. It appears you were attempting to ridicule my words by an intense display of verbal nothingness.

I must compliment you on your effort. You succeeded halfway . . . that being the verbal nothingness part . . .

Posted by: GateKeeper on July 16, 2005 10:39 PM

George, you fucking idiot, where do you get your figure of 130,000, repeat 130K "innocent" Iraqis killed?

Unbelievable, where do these idiots get their figures, and how do they gravitate to this blog?

Jeez, I should know better than to feed these fuckwit trolls, FOAD George and your supporters.

Mad? You bet.

Posted by: Henry Blowfly on July 17, 2005 08:40 AM

And, "gatekeeper", you don't keep my fucking gate, how dare you give yourself some sort of credibility with a "sheepdog" nickname.

Keep your own gate, dickhead, and continue to plumb the depths of your cheap thesaurus when you post your "erudite" comments.
Like George, FOAD, fool.

"My family, my kids, my job, my life and my country is in more danger because of Bush and what he's done (and not done.)"

Would you please expound on how your family, kids, job, life are in danger? Are you in a part of the country where suicide bombers are attacking buses weekly? Are you going to be fired over the war? Or do you work around terrorist's explosive materials?

I'm just really curious as to how you're in danger. Because I have a family, job, life, etc and we're all doing just fine.

Posted by: Eddie on July 17, 2005 10:42 PM

There Eddie goes needing someone to explain to him what he just read again.

Seems to make perfect sense to me. What Bush has done (and not done) is putting all of us in more danger.

Jobs are not only being outsourced to other countries, but terrorism is expanding around the world because of Bush's rush to invade a muslim country that posed no risk to us, and has only served to create an even larger jihadist movement globally. We would be safer here in America had Bush focused more on completing the mission in Afghanistan, brought bin Laden to justice, and focused on containing the spread of nuclear technology and materials into the hands of terrorists worldwide by demanding the extredition of Dr. A.Q. Khan from Pakistan. Khan posed a far greater risk of proliferating WMD's than Iraq and even helped North Korea, Iran and many other nations to develop WMD's all while Bush was off wasting over $300 billion on the war in Iraq to do nothing but create a training ground for more jihadists, allow our brave soldiers to die needlessly, and cause the deaths of thousands and thousands of innocent Iraqis. All of these actions and inactions will eventually result in future terrorist strikes in the U.S. that will be far worse than the attacks on 9/11 thanks to Bush's assinine priorities.

No one seems to focus on the fact Bush has obviously known about Karl Roves involvement in the leak of Valerie Plame's identity for over 2 years now, yet has done nothing but cover up this federal crime himself. That makes Bush an accomplice, but if Bush hasn't known, then Rove kept it all from him the whole time and as an advisor to the President, he certainly shouldn't be trusted with matters relating to national security. At the very least, Rove is gonna have to be fired and prosecuted very soon. Bush will bring himself down later when all the other cover ups and lies finally come out on this crooked ass administration.
