NO WHERE does it say the government can take private property for PRIVATE USE.

The supreme court ruled that if you are fairly compensated by the government that the local government could forcibly take your property. What the fuck is fairly compensated? The property we own has been in our family for over 80 years! What mathematic computation do they have to figure that worth amount?

Fucking bench penguins need to be shot. Dragging them off first gives them an extra 20 seconds of life they don't deserve.

I've been bitching about this bullshit for years. In Rockford, IL where I was spawned, they eminent domained the small grocery store of a local mexican business owner who had been open for decades and replaced it with... a chain grocery.

The entire area had plenty of places they could have bought for a steal within six blocks of that location, but they wanted the competition gone and paid off the appropriate people.

What a way to reward a successful man with roots in the community, eh?

To clarify: Ginsburg and Breyer have routinely provided the margin for rulings of the utterly stupid sort, including this idiocy. Stevens, Kennedy and Souter don't get a free pass, either, for ruling such in obvious conflict with the Constitution, regardless of who appointed them.

The point is, the two Carter/Clinton nitwits have been screwing up the works for years. Ginsburg, specifically, is the complete dolt who thinks we should consider foreign law in judicial findings, in complete, flagrant violation of the Constitution. Even the worst of the idiot Bush I appointees aren't willing to wipe their ass with the Constitution to that degree.

Regardless, the solution is to fire the lot of them, and federally elect the bastards for four years with term limits. Problem solved.
