prohibition lives!

I don't believe the parents showed good judgment, but I DO believe that the sentence was completely draconian. The judge in this case needs to be dragged off and shot for pure stupidity.

Bejus! You can draw a lesser sentence by HOLDING UP a liquor store than serving beer to minors. Something is wrong with that picture.

Wonder how many years a parent would have gotten if they had shown up and whipped their ass's for serving alchol to their kids.

Kids are gonna drink. They always have and they always will. The temperance people only make things worse.

I don't disagree with the Idea of providing a safer enviroment for the yougins, (My dad bought me a case of beer on my eleventh birthday and he was a cop!) But I think they used extreme bad judgement with 60 Kids!!

You are asking for problems then....

It wasn't exterme bad judgement, it was extreme stupidity. 60 kids! Geeze, what were they thinking.

Still, I agree that 27 months in the slammer is over the top. The original 90 days asked for by the procecutor was more like it.

Of course, if this had not been their first offense...
