June 10, 2005brandy planI'm going to assemble my still today, but the brew isn't ready to cook yet. It's still bubbling at the rate of a nice plop! about every thirty seconds. I'm going to allow it to continue fermenting until I have to wait at least two minutes between bubbles. THEN, it will be ready. That make take another couple of days. Comments
You area purist. The rest of us use a hydometer Posted by: GUYK on June 10, 2005 12:17 PMTryed to stop before I posted with a mispelled word. Make the hydrometer. I think a hydometer is to measure a pecker or something. Posted by: GUYK on June 10, 2005 12:18 PMWhere do you buy those? Not that I need it or anything. A couple of dollar bills stacked work fine. Well, maybe one. Posted by: Richard on June 10, 2005 03:11 PMIts funny, I was just wondering how the brandy was doing and then I scrolled down and voila here it is. Who knew Acidman was a mind reader. I'd get a hydrometer, too. Very reliable, and you get to drink the measured sample. Posted by: Steve H. on June 12, 2005 01:34 PMPost a comment
