June 05, 2005drag 'em off and shoot 'emCan you say propaganda? Good. I KNEW you could. My only question is how many people still recognize sheer bullshit when they see it. Not many people will if we start brainwashing children in school. "If there is one message from this atlas it is that we are all part of this. We can all make a difference," U.N. expert Kaveh Zahedi told reporters at the launch of the "One Planet Many People" atlas on the eve of World Environment Day. I've got an idea. How about a WHOLE BUNCH of people such as this asshole Zahedi go out and KILL THEMSELVES TOMORROW!!! They'd be doing the world a fucking favor if they did. Not only would we reduce the overcrowded, over-populated tug on Gaia's precious skirts, we'd clean a lot weeds out of the human gene-pool at the same time. Hell--- I'm just an old grouch. Ignore me and listen to the United Nations. THEY really want what's best for YOU. Comments
No, we CAN'T make a difference. We can do plenty of shit that makes it LOOK like we're making a difference on the surface, but in the end, people aren't going to give up using Gasoline-Powered vehicles unless either A.) it becomes uneconomical to do so, or B.) the government forces them to switch to something else. Speaking of the UN, why isn't Am-Nasty International or the MSM giving them any shit for the "misconduct" committed by their soldiers in Africa? http://www.africaonline.com/business.php?mode=getarticle&itemNo=9018442 Posted by: JG22 on June 5, 2005 02:40 AMYes, I saw that propaganda too. AOL is big on that. The only satisfaction I have is to vote their little survey in a misinformative way. Tell them I'm angry when I'm not. Tell them I care when I don't. To confuse the pollsters is the American way. Posted by: Ivan Ivanovich on June 5, 2005 08:47 AMAh, the United Notions. Beats working for a living. Posted by: Brett on June 5, 2005 09:28 AMUh . . . Didn't Daddy and Junior Bush claim UN "permission" to crush a 14th rate power like Iraq? Damn, sorta kinda inconvenient to the argument, ain't it? But that hasn't bothered anyone thus far. LMAO Posted by: jb on June 6, 2005 12:22 AMSince they hate cities, perhaps they'd like to relocate to Darfur. I'd be for that, especially if they'd take JB with them. Posted by: StinKerr on June 6, 2005 06:50 AMStink . . . Witty, but hardly to the point. Bush I and Bush II used the UN when it was convenient to start their wars against Iraq--which could not defeat the Iowa National Guard on a good day. But now we have almost 2,000 dead Americans, many more thousands wounded and maimed for life, and thousands upon thousands of dead Iraqis who would be alive under Saddam . . . For whar? The UN you bash is the UN the Bush family used to foist a thoroughly unconstitutional war upon Americans, and you , like many others, lack the simple common sense to see through the propaganda and realize the truth. Pathetic. Posted by: jb on June 7, 2005 12:03 AMUm, your history is just a little bit selective there, JB. Wasn't there an invasion of Kuwait as the trigger to GW-1? It recall that lots of people were pissed about that. The U.N. was sort of a speedbump on the way to the freeing of Iraq. Remember Mr de Villipen promising to veto anything the U.S. brought to the SC? He was the one who traveled the globe bribing and threatening everyone he could reach to see things his way. It worked on Turkey, but I still bet he won't keep his promise to let them into the EU. One thing about the French, they don't let the right thing get in the way of TotalFinaElf profits. The majority shareholder of TotalFinaElf is Power Corp of Canada, BTW, very well connected to Canadian governments for years. Consider the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis that wouldn't be alive under Saddam if he was still in power. He was killing them off at a pretty good clip. Mass graves and all that. Then there was his prison population reduction program. When he needed more room he'd just kill off enough to make the prison space he wanted. No panties on the head for him. He just shot them. His sons liked doing that. Bring some facts next time, JB. Your slogans are letting you down. Posted by: StinKerr on June 7, 2005 08:44 AMStink I am singularly unimpressed by your inability to gather facts. Why did Saddam invade Kuwait--that peace loving little dictatorship we so ardently defend? Because they were slant drilling into Iraq's oil supplies. Imagine Mexico doing the same to Texas. WWAD? We would tell Mexico once to stop, then we would end it. Saddam went many times better. He kept complaining until April Gillespie told him the US would not interfere if he ended the problem. The next thing you know we have the utterly false stories of babies being tossed from incubators and, as you mentioned yourself, mass graves . . . Unfortunately, if only you would have done your homework, you would know that the only mass graves discovered, are those the Americans bulldozed in GW I. As for the rest of the silly shit you mentioned, you asserted it--so give me time, date, place, and source. His sons may have been assholes, but so is the son of our 41st president. You are a parrot--blindly and mindlessly spouting the Republican line because you think you beat the Democrats in the election. What is the actual difference? Same old stupid wars and taxes and myriads of laws, but you are obviouly impressed if it is the Republicans who shaft you. Like it matters who bu-fu's you, really? Damn. You don't even have a clue as to the world around you, but you are certain you are right. And be sure that we have managed enough collateral damage to kill far more Iraqis than Saddam or his sons dreamed of doing on a real good day. And the proof is there that we had no constitutional reason to invade Iraq. Can you provide one veriafiable reason? No, you cannot, and you know I know you cannot. Do you work for FOX? Damn!!!
