what can I say?

The only people I hate more in this life than hormonal wimmen with the vapors are whining pussy-men. What a bunch of shit-heads.

If I believed that one driver weighing 100 pounds less than I did in a race car gives THAT drive an "unfair advantage" over me, I must not have much confidence in my racing skills. Robby Gordon needs to change his Kotex and go home.

Fucking wimp.

Comments

You are right about Robby Gordon. He is a little whining bitch as well as a shit-head. If he has confidence in his (non-existant) racing skills, he is even stupider than I thought.

But you are wrong about the weight thing. There is a real advantage there. But that is not Danica's problem, it is the IRL's problem.

Too bad she didn't win. She came close.

THANK you, unmisinformed. Nobody's denying that Danica has a weight advantage, but the IRL hasn't seen fit to weight down skinny MEN to match guys like Robby Gordon and his girth, so bitching about it NOW just makes Gordon look like a pansy-ass who's scared of getting beat by a girl.

BTW, Gordon's posted on his site, back-pedaling just as fast as he can. Loser.

I appreciate the mention, Rob, as always.

I'm just pissed because Danica ONLY weighs 100 lbs. and I wish that I did too.

If Robbie is so upset, why doesn't he just hire himself a 100 lb. driver to drive HIS cars and then he can have an advantage too. I dunno...

Wah, wah, wah..

Gordon is a jerk and not very bright.

Sure, there might be an advantage to weighing less but rather than complain Gordon might consider a diet. Gordon can't have it both ways, either driving is a sport that requires physical conditioning (in which case his additional upper body strength would be an advantage over a 100 pound woman) or it isn't. If it isn't, they may as well hand out X-Box controllers and do it online.

This isn't horse racing where the *horses* are racing, this is auto racing where the *drivers* are racing. The cars are required to weigh the same so that each driver, based on his/her merits has an equal chance. Gordon should drop a few pounds and fit a few more workouts in between media events before jockeys discover they can make more money driving than riding. They are in better shape, have better reflexes and are a whole lot tougher.

Kinda like Ms. Patrick.

I don't see weigh-ins before tennis matches, motocross events or world class bicycle races. The NBA doesn't strap weights on the players ankles until they weigh as much as Shaq and the NFL doesn't make a wide reciever haul around the equivalent of a linemans poundage in sandbags.

The weight advantage, such as it is, is only marginal, and is offset by the greater upper body strength of a 200 pound man. The way she went from 15th place to the lead had nothing to do with weight and everything to do with skill and talent.

Or your motor...know what I mean?

Posted by: Yabu on May 30, 2005 04:55 PM

Robby should have just stuck to running around in the desert down in Mexico. Idiot. His comments were a dream come true. I hope he makes good on his promise to never run in the Indy 500 again. Danica is a hell of a lot easier on the eyes, and ears, than he is.

Posted by: Leuthen on May 30, 2005 05:03 PM

D'oh. Of course.

...skill, talent, the car, and the engine.

But not significantly the weight.

Posted by: Ernie G on May 30, 2005 06:41 PM

Bet Ol' Lard Ass would bitch that the itty-bitty jockeys in horse racing have an unfair advantage.
The weight advantage I heard was only "1" (one) Mile Per Hour difference. If you've ever raced, you can LOSE that much by "fluttering" the gas pedal or not properly "drafting" someone.

That kind of whining should get him thrown out of the "Good Ol' Boys" society. Just don't send him North, us Damn Yankees got enough of a bad rap as it is.

It's interesting that so many people, including Rob, will take any opportunity to criticize a man while promoting a woman that “DID NOT FINISH”!
This is the kind of talk that encourages Bloodlesscunts.

Posted by: Ivan Ivanovich on May 31, 2005 08:05 AM

"DID NOT FINISH"?

WTF are you talking about?

Posted by: Ernie G on May 31, 2005 09:29 AM

Ivan,
Time to buy a clue, Danica finished 4th behind Bryan Herta.

Robbie's whining is why he is now the owner/driver of his own team, because no one can stand his cry baby antics.

I do know that in NASCAR, the weight of the car is set with the driver inside it. Does it make a difference? Who knows? Probably some tiny difference, but not enough to beat most of the rest of the field at Indy.
