peter and gordon

I didn't know this bit of trivia. I liked "A World Without Love," but I always thought Peter and Gordon were a couple of dorkles. That's what they should have called themselves---- "The Dorkles."

It's just interesting to see how they got started and where they ended up.

Shit -- am I doin' the math right? That's 41 freakin' years ago -- that's one of the first albums I ever bought with my babysitting money. OK, I officially feel old now.

Peter also owned the art studio in London where John and Yoko met.

After moving to LA, he ran Apple Records in the US and managed James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Randy Newman, and produced a lot of hit records.

I always especially liked I Go To Pieces too. I actually owned their greatest hits on vinyl.
