why not?

Okay... you're a 23 year-old nutball, zealously and stupidly defending some Palestinian house against destruction by bulldozer, and you are foolish enough to get run over and killed by the bulldozer. What does your family do?

Why, they sue Caterpillar, of course. Remember Rachel Corrie, that determined, fearless and brainless "activist" who got her silly ass killed trying to face down a bulldozer? (I nominated HER for a Darwin Award) Well, she ain't really dead yet.

"The brutal death of my daughter should never have happened," her mother, Cindy Corrie, said in a statement released by the Center for Constitutional Rights, one of the law firms handling the case. "We believe Caterpillar and the (Israeli Defense Forces) must be held accountable for their role in the attack."

Cindy and Craig Corrie, who live in Olympia (surprise! surprise!), are pursuing separate claims in Israel against the state of Israel, the Israeli Defense Ministry and the Israeli Defense Forces.

My aching ass.

The parents, of course, bear no responsibility at all for raising a fucked-up daughter.

How the hell is CAT even entering their minds? What the heck is CAT supposed to do? Police the use of all their equipment around the world? That's about as stupid as suing the sun for coming up in the morning.

I couldn't agree more. This is even more evidence of what is wrong with the world today. No one is responsible, someone else is always to blame. A pure money grab.

Yes. This is right up there with Nick Berg whose father failed to instill in him an appreciation of "situational awareness", then blames everyone but the terrorists for his son's beheading.

I just cant figure out where these sorry cocksuckers come from.

Are you folks talking about the famous Rachel "IHOP" Corrie? :-) LOL What an idiot. Even if she had been right (and she wasn't), it's better to move out of the way of heavy earth-moving machinery than to be dead right. But at least it should help the gene pool as I don't believe she had reproduced yet.

My question is, do I have grounds to sue them for making my costs for buying parts from Caterpillar to go up?

On a search for Rachel Corrie I came up with this. And, since you already posted something from this guy's site, I thought you might get a laugh out of this piece.

You're right. It should have ended in an early abortion you twit! What a flipping idiot.

Civil lawsuits are far out of control and need to be stopped. If a crime has been commited, then a trial should be had. If someone is convicted, then they should be punished. Pissing, moaning, then suing others for money is bullshit.

Financial gain from (the claims of) crime needs to be squashed.

Had she died in an auto accident, would the parents have sued the manufacturer? Doubtful.

Had she drowned while swimming, would they sue the maker of her swim suit. Possibly, for they are twits.

BTW, did St. Corrie the Pancake win the Darwin award that year?

Just to show what cretins the parents are, they gave a portrait of that stupid girl to Arafat about a year and half ago.

Bet Arafat and Rachel are having a good ole time in terrorist "heaven" about now.
