Don't wanna hurt no feelings

With all the overly-sensitive and easily-offended people in this country, the news has been heading this way for a long time.

(Link shamelessly stolen from dax montana.)

Comments

If you read the link to Fox News, it specifically states, "Nichols, 33, is described as a black male, 6'1" who weigh 200 pounds, and has a medium complexion."

A bit of sloppy bloggage by badeagle, who ever he is.

RIGHTISRIGHT - I was watching FoxNews as they were describing him. They said "medium complexion". So, what color are you if you have a dark complexion?

Brian,

In case you haven't noticed, black people run the complexion gamut from Wesley Snipes to Vanessa Williams.

Thank you for not hurting my feelings

RightIsRight, I believe the same can be said about "white" people.
(e.g.: George Hamilton vs. Boy George)

If you were watching news on TV, you would have seen a large picture of Nichols, and the descriptiong, "medium complexion." This was the "wanted poster." There was no mention of "black" on that poster.

Not sloppy reporting. Observation of the TV screen, that's all. A legitimate "part" of the story.
