must be an acquired taste

I don't like the taste of Listerine. Evidentally, some people do.

ADRIAN, Mich. -- A woman who pleaded guilty to driving while drunk on three glasses of Listerine was sentenced Tuesday to two years of probation.

Officials suspected Carol Ries, 50, was intoxicated after she rear-ended another vehicle at a red light in January. Police found a bottle of the mouthwash in her car.

She passed one breath test, but failed another that used different equipment. Her blood alcohol level was .30 percent, more than three times the legal limit.

She was stewed. But on LISTERINE??? WHY???

Nyquil works a lot better.

Kitty Dukakis's drink of choice was rubbing alcohol. Happy birthday, you old fart.

Don't forget vanilla extract. Much tastier than Nyquil.

Poor/homeless people often buy mouthwash like listerine because it is so much cheaper than buying regular alcohol.

The article doesn't mention if it's the original flavor or "Cool Mint."

Don't forget vanilla extract. Much tastier than Nyquil.
Perhaps. But it's not nearly as cost effective.

Nyquil? You mean "ComaQuil," don'tcha?

I take NyQuil, but for some reason those damn gelcaps just never give me the buzz I've been led to ex[pect.
