Gut Rumbles

February 05, 2005

hey! I'm nominated!

Yeah. I wrote this post.

And I still believe that I'm right.

I hope I win the contest. I like being highly objectionable.

Hmm, that scenario seems to have been repeated recently.

Oh methinks you don't have to worry about the win.

What are your plans for the $50?

You're in damn fine company though. Two out of the top three posts. You're even above the Rottweiller, though he has you in overall numbers..............Besides,Bill Cosby himself says most of the same things, only just a touch more, shall we say, circumspectley.

Heh, hands down going away, you were playing above your weight there. Scary thing is I tend to agree, maybe not quite as descriptivly though.

Facts are a hard thing to argue against.

We had one of those 'incidents' in AL last week too. "And the beat goes on..."

I read that post and you Know we've got people like that right here in Northern Ireland. And guess what? They are white as you or me. I don't think it is the colour of your skin that counts - it is being part of an underclass.

I'm with you, and you know what? So are the majority of my black friends and colleagues. I am a teacher in a "socio-economically disadvantaged" area. We see examples of this behavior from our students and their parents on a regular basis.

I teach comparative civilizations (7th grade social studies) and I have had parents complaining to the school board because I don't teach black history. I try to tell them that I teach about a unit about Africa, but that I don't teach US history...that's apparently not good enough for them.

The worst thing is that these parents see it as them and their kids against the teachers and the schools, and the kids damn well know it.

Hey! My "mean post" entry even included a picture. Nobody else's did.

I call "fix"...

And the guy who nominated me has to be the biggest fucking bedwetting liberal on the planet. Just reading his blogroll induces nausea.

I'm sure they could have gotten more good stuff out of Kim's site. I think the gun pr0n scared 'em off. That and the good lookin' wimmen.

Yep, between you, Kim and the Rott selections these folks just can't handle the truth. It's so stark and non PC.
