piece of cake

Got-dam! I did this puzzle when I was in elementary school. I haven't lost my touch, either. 50 out of 50 for me.

Can YOU do it?

(Thanks to catfish for the link!)

Yep....50 outta 50....but then I graduated H.S. in 1961, which was back when they actually taught U.S. Geography in school. I doubt if few H.S. students today could do it, at least from my own experience with them.

Damn. I got 49 of 50. My second state to place was WY. I missed the proper placement by only 76 miles. I demand a recount! If not I will cry like a Boxer.

48 out of fifty, just because my first one was Wyoming and I had it centered somewhere over Salt Lake, then blew it because I didn't know where Delaware is (like it matters -- j/k). It's been a while since I've played that.

49 out of 50 because I was 19 miles off placing OK (my 3rd state)

San Clemente High School Class of 1996.

My best out of 3 consecutive tries was 37 out of 50...

You don't even want to know what I got on my first try.

No way can anybody get 100% if they pull an internal state like S. D early. I'm happy with 86%. That's passing.

I'll admit that I got a lucky draw when I started the test. I hit Michigan, Rhode Island and California for my first three, which gave me a framework. If had had started with those boxy states in the middle southwest, I might have fucked up by 52 miles, too.

At least I knew WHAT COUNTRY I WAS LOOKING AT, which a lot of "students" don't today.
