quote of the day

The esteemed (by herself, anyway) Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee confesses to being the oldest woman on the face of the planet:

"I came here as a slave, and I deserve to vote."

MSM never even questions such inane bullshit. Maybe that's why leftist moonbats do it all the time.

Comments

I know! She's a refugee from one of the Muslem or Arab countrys that still practice slavery? ...Am I right ?, huh huh?.........Isn't America wonderful, here's an ex-slave immigrate who's come to your country and even gotten herself into government! Great country,huh?..............Oh,she was BORN there?God ,and I thought us Canajuns elected some nutcases. But you do have ten times the population to pick em from though.

SJL is one of the more virulent members of the DNC/CBC and is most noted for having a car pick her up for the one block drive to or from her apartment. As noted here: http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/000/867aejst.asp

Also has been in the papers for throwing hissy fits over her airline seating. See here: http://www.angelfire.com/pa/sergeman/limoliberal/makesroom.html

Not my most favorite congressional critter. If you do a Google search on her the hits are almost endless. Like many of the id10t's in Congress she is from a protected (read specifically designed for) district. As a side note: Cynthia McKinney, famous for blaming the jooooooooooooss for her last electoral defeat will give SJL a run for the most inept IQ challenged representative as she's back.

Jackson Lee once asked if the Mars Rover was anywhere near the flag that
the astronauts planted.

If you thik some of our Congresscritters are fucking nuts just consider the majority of the district that elected them! Public education in action!

I'll see your Sheila Jackson Lee and raise you a Cynthia McKinney.

Thought we were rid of her two years ago, but the dingbat who defeated her in '02 got the nitwit idea she had a chance for the Senate in '04, and left the field open for McKinney.

The only consolation is the knowledge that any constituency stupid enough to keep electing her, must deserve her. I don't live in the district -- a fact I list in the "There IS a God" column.
