Gut Rumbles

No, not me. this guy.

Lee Day, of the 200 block of Elm Street, was picked up by police 30 minutes before midnight on Dec. 23 after he was allegedly observed urinating "in plain view" in the parking lot at the 7-Eleven on West High Street.

"He was obviously intoxicated," Ziegler said.

He was taken into custody and was to be charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, but when police arrived at the booking facility at the Pottstown police station, Day "had passed out," said Ziegler.

"The officers were unable to wake him up until they had used two ammonia sticks," Ziegler said.

Thank Bejus he got his piss-call out of the way first. He had a BAC of .409.

(Thanks to Tony Ellis for the link!)

Fuck! That's not drunk, that's enbalmed.

Send that guy an invitation to the next Jawja blogmeet. He could give a seminar.

I read that the normal person metabolizes .015 bac of alcohol an hour. He wouldn't be legal to drive for 22 hours, and it would take over 27 hours for this guy to get to 0.00. Damn.

"I hate waking up and not knowing where I am, this hotel has a stainless steel crapper right in the room, and screens on the windows that could bar an Elephant."

I thought you were saying he was driving a big block Chevy! But then, it's early and that would be CID, not BAC. :>)

This guy is in a class by himself. He must have an artificial liver. I can only imagine the resultant hangover - Hiroshima would be a mere headache by comnparison.

A-freakin'-men. Reminds me of a story I read somewhere, though. Guy didn't get caught pissing, he was just passed out in his car where he pulled over 'cause he didn't want to get in a wreck. But the guy I'm thinking about knew he was in bad shape.

Lee What-Day-Is-It probably would have caused a wreck.

Embalmed? Nah, just nicely marinated.

I recall a few saucecapades which resulted in similar degrees of blenditude some years back. Probably not into the .4 region, but definitely up there.
