November 13, 2004to mike the trollYeah, Mike. When we red-state, knuckle-dragging, ignorant gungoons aren't showering money on churches the size of shopping malls, we occasionally do this kind of thing. We really ARE crazy, aren't we? "It just got under my skin that these lawyers and association people would do this to that guy," said Hoskinson. "That gentleman's signed up to protect our country, and you've got lawyers who haven't signed up for anything, trying to make him pay hundreds of dollars." This situation is not unique, either. Just read this. Yeah, that's right here in Effingham County, Georgia, where we help our neighbors when they need help. Who WOULDN'T, given such a worthy cause? Anybody who thinks we're dumbass jesus freaks because we give WILLINGLY when somebody we don't even know is in trouble has been living behind locked doors too long. I've never met Catie in my life, and I probably never will, but I gave $50. I want her to live long and prosper. I can't make her well, but I did what I could to help. And if that makes me a red-neck, so be it. I qualify. Comments
with all due respect, acidman, you are giving mike WAY too much attention. he even made an entry--and made the headline!! if you were in his shoes, would YOU ever go away? Posted by: beth on November 13, 2004 11:48 AMHowzabout we take Mike and that nasty lawyer bitch from the news story, chain 'em together at the ankles then toss them over a tree branch so they dangle. Then, we hand out pool cues (not baseball bats, I want this to last a while) and yell "PIÑATA!!!" They deserve each other. Posted by: El Capitan on November 13, 2004 12:30 PMHOLY HECK!!!! Forclosure over a $200 annual bill? Liens, lawyer fees? Probably the reason that the lawyer's fees added up so much is that even the lawyers had a hard time coming up with 'forclosure' of a $95,000 house over $200 Besides, the guy probably has recourse under the Soldiers' and Sailors' relief act of 1940. Now that'll cock the association up. I think Frau need to have a lien slapped on her house. I think that what she'd done should have her disbarred. I don't mind late fees, but did they even send a reminder? Posted by: Firethorn on November 13, 2004 12:34 PMNot only should it have been delayed, you would have thought that the neighborhood Ass-ociation would have just written off his dues this year and waited until he returned. Just one more reason why I'll never live in a place ruled by a committee of egocentric, machiavalian yard nazis. Posted by: Mamamontezz on November 13, 2004 07:35 PMI believe Emperor Misha put it best: Lawyer. Rope. Tree. Some assembly required. Posted by: Jay G on November 14, 2004 01:49 AM"Yeah, Mike. Well, Acid, you aren't crazy because people in the red states give to a worthy cause. Even blue staters, like me, give to worthy causes. You folks in the south are crazy because youins are still fighting the civil war, and then there is the obnoxious religious insanity that is so prevalent among your culture. I lived in Atlanta for a year and I witnessed this for myself. I also noticed that Georgians are as nice and polite as people come ... as long as your skin is white. If yer skin is too dark, you get ignored. "And if that makes me a red-neck, so be it. I qualify." You are smarter than your everyday redneck. But because you are a rightwing nutjob living in the south, I gotta pin you with the redneck label. Thanks for another thread dedicated to me. You sure do know how to feed a troll. :) Posted by: Mikelx on November 14, 2004 09:28 PM"if you were in his shoes, would YOU ever go away?" Beth, Acid has opened his door to me so that I can post my leftwing insanity. Besides, do you really want someone, like me, to go away? It's good to know that the moral elite in this country still enjoy beating the shit out of strangers. It's kinda ironic to be posting that crap in a thread that praises southern charity.
