Gut Rumbles

i am ashamed

You preferred Bush's statements 67% of the time
You preferred Kerry's statements 33% of the time

Voting purely on the issues you should vote Bush

Who would you vote for if you voted on the issues?

Find out now!

I can't BELIEVE that I agreed with Kerry 33% of the time. I thought that I was smarter than that.

(Shamelessly stolen from here.)

Don't feel bad...I scored the same as you, and I don't think anyone can loathe that fucker any more than I do. He makes my skin crawl just looking at him, let alone when he's got his pie hole open.

I think the reason we agreed with him as much as we did is because Kerry talks a good game...some of what he says makes sense and sounds healthy on the surface. It's when you go looking for the substance behind his words that he comes up wanting. Every time.

You think that's bad, the first time I was 70% kerry, second was 44%. About a third of the questions I didn't like either answer.

Kerry talks a good game, problem is that I don't believe a word out of his mouth. Also, the issues that I do agree more with him aren't big issues in my mind. As a libertarian I disagree with Bush fairly often.

Gay Marriage: I don't think that we need a constitutional amendment about it. As a libertarian I ask "why's government in the marriage business". Gert rid of marriage licences and just issue civil unions.
Abortion: I'm pro-choice, but believe that tax money shouldn't go towards it, and programs should be focused on finding alternatives.
Balanced budget: by cutting spending, not increasing taxes.

I got the same thing you did and I am solid Bush supporter! It might have been the gay marriage issue that screwed it up for me. I just don't see the point in banning gay marriage. However, gay marriage is the least of our worries and on all other fronts I side with Bush. Kerry is a con artist. He makes me sick to my stomach.

It's the questions that were asked. As I was reading a question I'd think "that makes sense" and the last part of the question I'd think "whoa, I don't like that." And who says Bush has all the answers anyway? This country needs a healthy Democrat Party that isn't subversive and always seemingly working to undermine this war against Islamofascism. The Dems need to pick a freaking side if you ask this white devil Texan.

Bush is getting my hesitant vote because I believe he'll take the fight to the terrorists and won't treat the terrorism issue as a law enforcement problem. THEY HAVE DECLARED WAR ON US. 'Nuff said. Jason out.

Austin, Texas! God Bless Texas and God Bless America!

Same score here as well, and a portion of the (ugh) "Pro-Kerry" leaning related to the gay marraige thing.

"Gay marriage" is a fallacy. Referring to butt-fucking as "gay coitus" would be equally nonsensical. I fail to see, however, which clause of Section 8 of the Constitution allows the federal government to define what a marraige (or coitus, for that matter) is. If the voters of a state wish to recognize "same-sex marriage" then, well, so be it.

Speaking of which: Did anyone else get the feeling that virtually all of the gays chanting "states rights" during the marriage amendment debacle would be more than willing to have the feds dictate nearly every other aspect of life?

I got the exact same thing as well.

WTH? I just scored a 56% for Kerry. As I was taking the test though, I kept wondering about the nature of the questions and the answers provided.

Personally, I'd like to see the research and test the bias of the test-giver....

What a way to wreck my friday. THANKS A-man!!!

Oh . .. and GOOOOOOOO DAWGS sic'em Woof Woof Woof!!!!

Gonna eat some good BBQ this weekend...

Great, I get to choose between statist A and statist B.

I have never thought Kerry was stupid, just a liar and a cheat.

Beat closet liberal.

People, don't get worked up. 33% is the minimum possible agreement with Kerry. It's HIS problem, not yours.

Posted by: dipnut on October 22, 2004 07:45 PM

Yeah, same as you, and I think Kerry is one of the worst candidates ever fielded by the dems. He doesn't believe in anything, except that the U.S. should never project military power. And that he wants to be president.

I got 89%, pinkos.

The trouble with this poll, and with similar autopolls that are springing up on the net like mushrooms after a rainstorm, is that it has a false assumption designed in. That's the assumption that all the questions should be weighted equally. It's quite possible to agree with Kerry on gay marriage and health care and all that, and yet believe that national security trumps and overshadows all of those. And to feel that in this critical area, Bush beats Kerry hands down.
