Little salt and pepper and a dash of Tabasco and that's a fine meal!

I had biscuits and gravy yesterday, using the recipe I put in my book. Couldn't get sausage because of Frances, so I used thick bacon and added sage to the gravy. It's actually better than sausage gravy. I ate the biscuits with gravy and also with butter and Yoder's blackberry jam, imported from Kentucky.

Too good to describe. And none of that filthy Bisquik.

ANYONE can make great biscuits. Takes about five minutes to get them in the oven.
